The bevels is because the bottom part of the reel you will see more than the top part of the spool when fishing and when a fish takes a run.

@TeamHardLife - I have a solution to your problem with the spool jumping back and forth. You talk about it here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oJpjf7CDqanYqqc.html. This solution will still enable to spool big reels, as well as the spinning reels. And you won't need to build a custom bracket. Basically you're keeping the reel clamp system in the same position on the table - you will just disconnect it from the spool assembly so that you can move the spool assembly over to the left. LEt me explain the steps: You will need to unbolt the entire spool assembly from the table and also unscrew the knob that secures the reel clamp assembly to the service spool assembly (unscrew the knob with the silver aluminum handle). Now you can move the spool assembly to the left as far as you like. But now your reel clamp assembly is not secured to the table. To fix this you will need to call up Triangle Sport and see if they will sell you the same black bracket that the reel clamp assembly attaches to in the front of table. This is the black bracket that is about 7" high that the reel clamp assembly slides up and down on (also the level wind assembly attaches to this same piece of metal). Now you will screw this new metal bracket at the back of the table and screwed above screw the aluminum knot into the track of this new bracket. I just bought this same winder at home and I might implement this solution as well.

Talking with a few manufacturers and they sometimes will have a slightly higher rating but most it's right around what they are rated for ... on the plus side.... never less than the rating

mount a single eye for main line to go threw then your hand piece then to small spool , the big spool moves across but your work line is always from a fixed point then you control the thread from there .. i made stainless steel threaded flex tubing for exhaust, talk about a work of art of machinery and robotics to accomplish an air tight seal ..

I bought a penn battle 3. 10,000 with 40 lb drag . I got it spooled with 80 lb power pro. I didn't get near the amount of braid that penn says on its spool. The 10000.had no problem fighting 60 lb yellow fin tuna 2 days ago tho.

Yes search recommended that size of real for targeting species of that kind and yes doing it by hand will get less line then doing it with the machine on a spinning Room because the bail is governed by the amount of rotations per crank

cant u just turn the line holder the one with giant spool around an the line will be on the left side vs the right it will be backwards but I think will still work u just gotta turn line around an ur line will be more even with the part u actually wind the line onto the spools idk just a idea or just take it out an re bolt it in a different spot
