This is a Microsoft Teams recording of PA DEP presenting the PFAS MCL Rule Operator Training course, recorded in January 2024. The training course and recordings are divided into five lessons. The purpose of the course is to help water systems comply with the PFAS MCL Rule requirements. This course will cover the PFAS MCLGs and MCLs in Pennsylvania, monitoring and reporting requirements for PFAS, and sample collection tips for avoiding cross contamination. The course will also cover compliance determinations and PN and CCR requirements.
Lesson 3 covers sampling considerations for PFAS and tips for avoiding incidental cross contamination.
