You know... Penny is one of those Pokémon story and battles where... Do you know who she is? *Yes* and did I expect her OST to be such a banger? *No. Not at all* and then you realized that you've been bopping and vibing with the OST all along.

Honestly this is REALLY good. But I can’t help but notice that it’s missing that manic part at the start, before the main chorus hits in.

As phenomenal as the original was since it diverged from the norm, this version definitely feels more like Pokémon to me and feels like something that could come right out of BW2

Penny is a much better person than most fans seem to realize. If Clavel wasn’t as empathetic to the students of his academy, Penny would have sacrificed not only her name and reputation, but possibly the only chance of ever meeting her best friends face-to-face. She would have gladly faced expulsion if it meant that her only friends were safe from the same fate. Ultimately, Starfall Street is a story about friendship, when revenge goes too far, and the journey to correct past mistakes. Penny may have technically committed a few crimes during Operation Starfall, but it was all for a good cause. Her undying friendship, loyalty, and willingness to sacrifice her studenthood for the ones she loves are noble traits for someone like her to have, and she did it all despite her shy, introverted nature. I love this storyline so much, man. Wholesome friendship stuff hits me right in the feels every time. Penny's story is the only time a Pokemon game has ever made me cry. I wish I could give her a hug, because she deserves one.

I don't normally like Penny's theme since it feels a little too discordant and all over the place, but this 1000% fixes it for me! It feels so much more like a Pokémon song and has a much more digestable composition 10/10

This makes me wish that pokemon revealed in a new remake that all these alternative timelines with and without these gimmicks were actually other universes instead. Places all connected through the new game as it shows that bill's teleporter (shown way back in gen 1) revealed something more with his accidental fusion with a pokemon; cross reality virtual pokemon battles. To avoid confusing everything with characters jumping between realities and timelines, this new system Bill made allows people to upload their pokemon to a computer and virtually battle against other trainers from other timelines. Eg. you'll be able to battle Trainer Red from: Pokemon Red, Pokemon FireRed, Pokemon Origins, Pokemon Sun and Moon, Pokemon black and white 2 and pokemon lets go eevee and pikachu. All the same character but slightly different. Although this would create a new can of worms with what is and isn't canon, but I think it's a good step towards giving us a better understanding of what is canon for the game. If they appear in the virtual battle world, that version isn't canon to the current game (but their canon version can appear). But it also allows every game to have an excuse to let you battle EVERY.SINGLE.PAST.POKEMON TRAINER. EVER! Complete with their original song intact and hey, maybe even make the battle resemble past games too by just using sprites when possible!
