Saying a penny board (a portable cruiser) is for posers because you can’t do tricks on it is like saying your upset because an orange doesn’t taste like an apple

My penny broke after a lot of tricks on it. They not for posers. Their for transportation 🥴 if it brings you to skateboarding who tf cares 🖤

not all people who buy boards want to do it for tricks. some people just want to cruise around. plus there's no point in buying a board to be a poser because boards aren't that amazing (it feels amazing when you do play with it but to show it to people and think you're cool is pretty lame)

a poser is not a beginner, a poser is someone who has a skateboard only for clout and stuff like that claiming they are a skater. we make fun of posers, not beginners.

@@entityjack9054 and as u probably know, skating isnt easy. so what kinda person would spend alllll that time of practicing for “clout”. and what makes u think skating gives u “clout”? lol if ur super good, sure absolutely. but that means u been practicing and have discipline and love the sport. “clout” is a easy way to earn attention. skating the first 1-2 years aint easy and doesn’t give u ANY Attention. so ur clout theory is invalid

@@esk8unity Dude you dont know what a poser is. Posers dont know how to skate. They pretend like they do and say they do for attention sometimes doing things like wearing 'skater' clothes and grinding down their board with their hands to make it seem like they do tricks.

@@entityjack9054 so if u dont know how to skate, that means ur a beginner and ur learning. no one skates to “look cool” man lol. there’s thousands of other things to do in this world and “lookin cool with a skateboard” is VERY subjective. as a longboarder myself, and used to skate when i was a kid, no one thought i was cooler when i tried skating the first few months/year. When i got good at it after a year, sure, it looked cool, but thats cuz i loved it and practiced. not to look cool. jus bite the bullet, “poser” is just a immature term used by children .

@@entityjack9054 also, u act like “calling yourself a skater” gains u something. Its not like acting like ur rich and showin off a stack of money. when dummies think that, they think the person is skilled at something and or a self made successful entrepreneur. my point is. there a logical incentive there. calling yourelf a skater? lol whos gonna be tricked by thinking your a better person somehow from that? lol. in fact, if u say u are, and ur uncoordinated, its makes u even worse. u notice ALL sports/activities dont use this word “poser”. ima soccer player (but in reality im really not) do i look cool now for some reason? lol. mad weird

Poser is such a cliche word these days. Penny’s are meant for cruising and just having fun. P.S., doing tricks is just one aspect of skateboarding. A lot of people hit up the park but never actually cruise and I personally think that a shame because they’re missing out on an important part of skating.

Shuv its are very doable and id recommend learning on it lowkey worked at marhsals and would just practive in the back on slow nights when managers werent around

I was thinking every time I was skating that board how terrifying it would be to carve up a steep pool, air out, and try to put my feet back on that tiny board. So crazy... We're spoiled haha

I can do a 540 shuvit with a 360 body varial in the same direction blindfolded on my penny.

The guys who grandfathered skate boarding on Makaha boards were posers because they were also plastic boards.

I have a normal board for tricks and stuff or just when I'm messing around/doing tricks but now and again I'll go on my penny board to just cruise around.

In my experience Skateboarders age like everyone else and penny skateboards are for older skateboarders that can no longer do tricks.

These are not for tricks. In fact penny actually makes a different board for this purpose.

You're using a nickel board not a penny. Penny boards are only 22 in. The 27 in is not a penny board

These are one of the boards that they had to use in the 70’s, they don’t suck they just aren’t as advanced as the ones we use nowadays. They aren’t specifically made for tricks, they are for transport.
