This is as much a political matter as it is a national security one. Using logic that previous parties did not list a particular organization as a threat as a valid reason to not list them as a threat now is a political bullet dodge. It is as clear as a sunny day that Gaza is fuel for propaganda to incite civil unrest across the globe in effort to overthrow western governments. The USA recently banned the recognition of civilian casualties in Gaza. The UK started recognising groups as terrorist organizations and listing them as such. Either this government is compromised from within its own ranks, or it only interested in supporting where it thinks it will get the votes, regardless of what is right for the nation.
