Allen Iverson loves Kyrie Irving
I love Kyrie too and make a top 100 ankle breaking plays for him
Irving’s crossover dribble is one of the best in business, and in order to make sure the Kyrie 2 was able to help him pull it off as easily as possible, Nike introduced a curved bottom surface of the midsole and outsole, which is the first of its kind for a basketball sneaker. It’s meant to allow Irving to redistribute his weight and cut without “slapping his foot to the court,” which should help him remain as explosive as possible.
Tyronn Lue on Kyrie: "He has the best handle in the NBA, so he's able to play iso basketball."

I mean he doesn't repeat at all in a single game. He can finish with either hand and off of any foot. He can do a sweet ball handing move and pull up on you and then knock it down on you. He has so many moves. And just when you thought you seen it all he pulls up another amazing move. Such a good player.

exactly. My favorite clip is when he crossed over Howard when Howard was in the Lakers Jersey.i ts always more hilarious when you can get big men to lose their balance. Kyrie first did a sharp inside cross to the right, forcing Howard to shift his hips and big frame to the left to meet Irving. In an instance, Kyrie switched flipped the ball and his progress over to the left with a slide of the ball off the floor to his left hand. Howard 7'0 was left frozen and off balance as Kyrie finished with an and one at the hoop with a fancy left handed layup

agreed. kyrie appears to have prestine balance and better control, with the goal to keep moving toward the basket. on the other hand, AI crosses more so to get the def *off of him, **then drive to the basket.

I can't agree with that Iverson got over some of the best defenders of all time. We'll never see Kyrie cross Lebron. Iverson had to adjust to a league with rules working against him, banning his best moves with prejudice. Kyrie has spectacular hands but without AI there is no Kyrie as sure as without Isiah there is no AI.

blacktee31 I see what you are saying. But Kyrie wouldn't try to cross Lebron the way AI would. Kyrie is already bigger than AI and would rely on a breakaway/power to get to the basket. AI would defintely depend on his speed and handling to cross Lebron.

jadefields But that says less about how good each of their control of the ball is and more about their ability to get to the basket and score. I wont argue that one is better than the other outright, but atm A.I. has the better credentials.

Brandon Knight actually played great defense but slipped on the first play. On another play, Kyrie overpowered him a bit when driving to the hoop. Kyrie is great without question, but Knight's defense on him was not as bad as probably a lot of people think.
