Mitch's mom is the sweetest woman ever. After this panel, we got to take pictures with the parents. It was kinda set up like a meet and greet, like shuffle us in, pose for a pic, then leave so the next people can get a picture. Time was really crunched to get everyone through and we weren't supposed to talk to them. Just get a pic and leave, but Nel was hugging everyone that came up to her and asking for their names and thanking us for loving her son. It was truly the sweetest thing. Both Scott's parents and Mitch's parents ended up coming to the dance party and that's when people got to really have conversations with them. I remember that Nel grabbed my hands and didn't let go the entire time we talked and she pulled me in for like three or four hugs. I told her that she felt like all of our mom and she said that we all feel like her kids and seriously, I love that woman. Also, Mike made me retake our selfie like three times because he didn't like the first two lol.

Matt sounds exactly like his dad -- same with Kirstin's mom.

I forgot to mention this to my previous comment: those parents have shown us why it is so important to love and to support your kids in everything they do because once they got the support needed, they can become whoever they want to be and make a great impact on other people. Every single one of them will be great parent because of the education they received from their folks. It is truly beautiful.

OK, I know the PentaParents coined the acronym PPM as "Proud Parent Moment(s)", but I want to borrow it to share my PPM (Proud Pentaholic Moments) throughout this panel discussion: 43:10-44:15 (How Mitch and the rest of PTX have become life savers and life changers), 44:30-46:19 (How Kevin has become an inspiration and is actually MAKING HISTORY with inventing CELLOBOXING! Webster's Dictionary is going to have to add this word soon. I can't wait to use it in Scrabble!), 46:20-48:00 (Kevin inspiring people of ALL ages to go back to church! Praise God!), 48:07-49:30 (PTX influencing autistic children - WOW! This is AMAZING!). I know we Pentaholic already know this but, wow, Kevin is a genius! I loved when Mitch's dad stated Mitch has a caring ♥ (which I suspected all along - I'm a Mitch girl!), that people gravitate towards him for advice (this happened to me all throughout high school and, even now, at work. It's mind boggling how many things Mitch and I have in common! I hope to meet him one day and just talk, talk, and talk some more!), music (and comedy) is my therapy, which is why I enjoy PTX/SF funny videos blogs so much as well as their angelic voices! Also, the piano story! I KNEW those people regretted getting their piano "repaired"! Interesting how things turn out... I would LOVE to see Matt as Black Danny! I wanna see Mitch as Tiny Tim! The beaver story was the best! Poor Scotty tho! I don't know if this exists, but there should be a Facebook page dedicated to PTX/SF fan art! IMO I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the parting gifts from the Pentaholics to the PentaParents! I'm sure the PentaParents become prouder and prouder of their kids each year! I know I do! OK... I'm done! 😁

Again, THANK YOU FOR THIS!! There are great moments here. For me Matt and Kevin's dads they are soooo cool and funny. Not to mention Candace who's very funny and natural especially the part when she told about her mom coming to her school without telling her ahah. They are so caring. It really made my day to see those parents talking about them and how much they love them. Really love what Angelica said about her daughter that she's gaining a lot of confidence which is so true, she is glowing now, she is a fighter, I feel like 2017 was a shitty year for a lot of people and Kirsty is human like anyone of us, I really relate to what her mother said and she is in a great place now. Very proud of her. Of all of them. They are not only artists that we love, but they are beautiful humans being very well raised and thanks to their parents and SISTER ; - ) to share them with the rest of the world. God bless you all

Candace's personality is purely delightful! Kirstie & Mitch are both clones of their mothers and Kevin & Matt are clones of their dads. Rick's line about Nel having to support Mike's playboy lifestyle gave me the biggest belly laugh I've had in a while.

Typing this after only watching 25 min but you can immediately tell why this group cares so much about each other and their fans. They have great responsible committed parents that care about them and their success and love their kids. It’s refreshing to see that. We need more of that in the world today.

They are so humble. Love that we got to hear them speak about their PTX kids.

Finding the PentaParents panel from 2K16 on this channel was the first time I ever heard of PentaCon and it’s what made me want to come to 2K18... getting to be a part of this panel this year was such a surreal and amazing experiences and I’m so thankful to the parents and the committee for making it possible!

Oh thank you so much!!! I absolutely have loved meeting you all through this PENTACON gathering! As a parent of a child that absolutely loves music that grew up wanting to be a performing artist or a teacher of musical arts but had to abandon his dream because he gave up on himself,. I would love to have asked the question "If your PTX child has ever doubted themselves in their musical ability, whether through rejection or lack of means for opportunity, what did you do to help them to believe again?"

Its a blast to watch the parents and family. Christy's Mom is obviously more private, kudos for showing up. Felt bad for her, she didn't get into answering too many questions. I get it, I was a single Mom and would have been sitting there alone too. At least we know where Mitch got the idea for the stache...meh...so glad he shaved it off, much better without it. Dad wears it better..lol.
