Pentagon identifies Navy SEALs lost off coast of Somalia

Two Navy SEALs lost at sea off the coast of Somalia on January 11 have been declared dead. The pair were lost during an operation targeting a ship transporting weapons to Houthi rebels.

May you R.I.P Gage🫡 He was the kindest person I’ve known! He was the funniest and amazing person in general. I didn’t know him like that but the way he treated me like he known me since high school. Gage I remember telling you after our long conversation we had before you went on to your mission was “ Be safe , have fun and don’t be stupid ! “ that was our last time we hugged and dapped each other up. May you rest in peace brother! Thank you for you’re service and for what you did! I just wished we exchanged numbers but I’ll see you in the next life fly high brotha!

Imagine being that dedicated to your brother in arms that in the night, during a small raid, you dive over board in choppy sea conditions to save your fellow man. Incredible, and exemplifies what it is to be a SEAL and a member of the SOF community.
