I’ve noticed similarities in pentagon’s title tracks 1. Korean wordplay (daisy represents the flower daisy and sounds similar to a korean word that means burn) 2. Toxic relationships. (I think that’s pretty self explanatory) 3. Rebellion/resistance (Basquiat is in resistance of prejudice, naughty boy is about resisting the expectations from society and the older generations) 4. Growth (the lyrics change from “I hope you’re never happy” to “please be happy”) 5. Visually dark and intense music videos but meaningful lyrics and styling In conclusion, pentagon best and most creative (self-producing) idol group edit: they're also really good with showing heartbreak and nailing the nostalgia/bittersweet factor. naughty boy sounds so happy but a lot of people have said they feel kind of sad after listening to it. daisy's a really bright, energetic song but it's about heartbreak and a bad relationship. even sha la la is a party kind of song but there's a hovering feeling of sadness SOMEHOW. also, good job unis and non-unis who helped stream- we got the first win!

Daisies in flower language mostly means “purity” and “innocence”, which is ironic considering the topic of the song which is lies of love, but another meaning to daisies are “transformations” and “new beginnings.” This is a hopeful start to a new beginning for both PTG and Universe, one of happiness and to a true self, regardless of whether they get music show wins. That be said however... what our boys have been doing for a long time deserves at least a little bit of something for their hard work. So let’s persevere for them!! every member’s scenes have a colour theme each: hui - white hongseok - red shinwon - black yeoone - green yanan - pink yuto - yellow kino - purplish blue wooseok - light blue and when they come together their scenes are white just like how all the colours are white when together but after going through the prism they are refracted and dispersed into the different colours

i think hui is insane actually he really just goes to his studio and says I Will Leave The Rest Of The Music Industry In Shambles every day he just leaves everyone else but pentagon unemployed he's just crazy for music and pentagon

Notes: Hui - Feels empty, relating to him being in a blank room with nothing in it. Hongseok - In a beautiful and elegant place (his relationship), but everything in the room is exploded in disaster (the breakup). Shinwon - Trapped in glass. He sees everything outside of the box, but he himself can't get out. Yeo One - Sits helplessly in a garden (his relationship) and can't get up (he's not willing to move on), even when staying in place hurts when (when the garden is set on fire). At the 0:11 mark, we see that there's a chair that's been flipped over. There's someone missing in his life. YanAn - The colors during his parts change. There's purple, yellow, red, it shows that he's confused and doesn't know how he feels. Yuto - He walks slowly and takes his time. Then, he sits and relaxes on a chair placed in a room full of candles. Candles, in general, represent good things coming to you in small amounts. He stares up at the ceiling and waits for time to pass at 1:46. He knows that, with time, he'll get over this person's love. Kino - The water remains in the sink near the beginning as he tries to keep his emotions in. At the very start, one of the sinks is already full and the other sink is being used midway through the video. This shows that he's doing everything he can to hold it all in. When he stares at himself in the mirror (he contemplates on how terrible he acted in the relationship), he drowns himself in the feeling of missing someone. Wooseok - Is badly injured in the car crash, until the second chorus where the car is set on fire. Since this is a metaphorical car crash and it's only in his head, the car being set on fire shows his anger towards the breakup which is shown in his rap segments.
