For those who havent read the Indian government's Commission's report on how 1.8 billion Indians were unalived by the British Here is a short summary

First, it was done over a very long period of 200+ years. Not all in one go. And it was the British policies and laws implemented that killed 1.8 billion Indians, not that they were executed The two main policies that wiped out 1.8 billion Indians are: 1: Allocation of food: Since the British were at war all the time, they didn't have people to do the farming. They made India do agriculture and then take it away. causing a massive famine every week. 2: Plundering of India's natural resources The British forced Indians to mine all the natural minerals in their country and carry them to the ports to be shipped back to England every day. extremely dangerous jobs, and these poor Indians weren't fed, and hundreds of millions succumbed to the exhaustion. The whole of India was ruled by only a handful of Britishers. Why India chose to never fight back baffles many to this day. Maybe India is just obedient by nature.

The 45 trillion dollars that were taken mainly consist of natural resources. If you look at India's current mineral deposits, most are completely depleted (that's why India imports their minerals instead of producing them themselves; they have nothing left). The British forced Indians to mine and carry those minerals and resources to the sea port so they could be sent back to England every single day for 200 years. The U.S. and U.K. infrastructure was pretty much built from not only India's natural minerals but also India's blood, sweat, and even lives (countless Indians died working in the mines all day with less than a portion of grain in their stomachs).

You are right. India cannot count on the US or some other country to hold its hands in this state of art field of technology. India has the necessary talent pool for developing its own AI tools and weapons. At present, Indian software engineers are busy working for Google, or Meta or some such foreign company, where they do not do skilled job, but end up tagging millions of faces, words, objects etc. India may or may not enter into a war situation. But under the present geopolitical situation, India should always be war-ready. "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty", as the well known adage goes.

Military just uses avionics, I don't know why they would want to use AI, they have palatir and drones and boston dynamics making robots, but decision making, just like in the launching of a nuclear missile, they used to have two guys flicking the switchor pressing the button, the actions need to be coordinated, no one of them would know if their is no coordination and then they is men supervising these guys pressing the button to make sure they are doing it on orders and not on their whim, if the latter, they shoot them down. AI could never replace this systematize coordination it would be too dangerous.

Yes. I agree that the human factor is a very important thing. The robot does not understand what is bad and what is good. And as for carpet bombing, you've gone too far. As far as I know, Putin's photo should not have been inserted there, but I live in a war zone and see everything with my own eyes. Russia is not fighting a war like Israel in the Gaza Strip. And he's not conducting any carpet bombing. In the first week alone, twice as many civilians were killed in Gaza as in Ukraine over the past 2 years. It is better to place photos of all American presidents there, starting with Bill Clinton.. Those who are really to blame for the deaths of millions of innocent people..

Experienced fighter pilots are no longer a match for AI in simulators. F16s can be flown by AI, the computer never sleeps and works through an incredible amount of scenarios, this gives AI millions of flight hours, something human pilots can never do.

Ha of course they do, any talk of restricting research in AI is a total waste of time, like the US military is going to take one bit of notice. And don't worry about the principles of war, its only those not at war that follow it one doesn't have to look very far to see that so AI will be able to do that as well as humans. We have all these laws etc so we know how to blame but honestly those are human constraints, AI doesn't give a toss and if it did then its likely going to end up with the opposite result to what you want, that is expediency and turning against you is a likely result. The whole AI thing scares the hell out of me, I don't know enough about it and I don't want to as I couldn't do anything to stop it anyway. As always we will discover what we didnt know the hard way.

Wonderful subject to listen to and learn from our leaders. Majority of the government wouldn’t tell you where they are in their AI journey or what do they do with it. I am sure India started to invest on AI military intelligence back in 2017. I am also confident we are not too far from others. Question is, how do you measure it?

I would say 1st understand what exactly is LLMs meant for before making any conclusion on misleading the audience with the dangerous use of AI. LLMs are a part of generative AI technology and not decision-making. Hallucination is caused by assuming that correct data is not fed to embed the model, also the bias example for "Chinese balloon" is not really an example of bias, it is regarding not training the model with current events. First, understand these technologies and not just use hyped words such as LLMs to increase the TRP and spread incorrect information.

Biased data is the biggest source of incorrect data. Look at Media, Ngo, History / Documentary / Wikipedia..., Religions, Ideologies, Communities, Ultra-Nationalism, Uktra-Capitalism, or yourself. There is deep bias at play everywhere. We're hallucinating timebombs, a mental patient with no future.

For your reference (LLM) means (Large Language Model) which is a purely GenAI stuff on predicting what text to display based on previous training, and has nothing to do with decision making. That is the work of ML under supervised/reinforced learning.
