I couldn't say it any better. If I was a group that Pentatonix decided to cover I would be scared Because they are just that good. Many reactors Say that they prefer the Pentatonix Covered to the original. Bryan may of queen Was so impressed with their cover of bohemian rhapsody that he posted it on all of his social media sites.

They’re perfection! It’s easy to see why they won a Grammy for this. They released a new album on Friday and they released a video with Prayers for this world. Technically Cher did this song with a children’s choir for a Serbian charity, but she didn’t release it so Dianne Warren, who wrote it gave it to Pentatonix to release it, so I believe it’s technically considered an original.

This was such a moment not only for PTX but in music history, tbh. They recorded it all in Avi and Kevin's house for around $400. Then after some cool basic editing, they not only won a Grammy, but caused the admins or whatever to change an entire category so they could award it to them.

They even changed the name of the Grammy category to add a cappella to the category that year to be able to include Pentatonix in the nominations.

Pentatonix was the acapella group that burst out and started the trend. If they hadn't been as good as they are, acapella would still be underground.

Or, even better, one of their live performances of that song (my personal choice would be the performance on "Ellen", but there are a couple of others which are also good). The live performances prove that they are not just a studio creation.

This medley combines 7 Daft Punk originals. The transitions are so seamless that it takes some reactors who are not familiar with the songs quite a while to realize that it isn't a single. Pentatonix does medleys like no one else! Great reaction! 🙂

They also own Christmas. Around November 9 they kick off their tour for this year's Christmas album prayers for the world. They do have that out in a video

Love your reaction! I still am fascinated by the complexity of this song. Besides the new album drop ( Holidays Around The World) and video, Scott Hoying ( blond guy from Pentatonix) has released his first official solo song Mars last month. It's well worth a look!

They were the first group who became popular mainstream. They cleared the way for the rest of the groups. They became famous during the show the sing-off. Some of them were 19 y/o then. This was their first great song. They won several grammys for Daft Punk.

as a Pentaholic my basic challenge to new reactors: go do a list of the discography of Pentatonix(PTX), pick a song you really do not like and a song you think the original is the best it could ever be, after you hear each you will be a Pentaholic, because they are that great. Also all of the "Offical Videos" are not processed, layered, nor adjusted, what you hear is what you will hear on the live record on someone's cellphone at a meet and greet. They really are that good.

I saw them do it this in concert in California a few weeks ago (29 September 2022) and it was just amazing; very nearly as good as the studio version. I see them again in another couple weeks for their Christmas concert and I can't wait! Excellent reaction! I have subscribed to hear as much Pentatonix as you want to react to. Cheers! Hey Johnny. This reaction video showed up in my recommendation list today. Yep I subscribed. As a Pentatonix fan I like to watch listener's reactions. Looking through your playlist, you have a lot of PTX to review. I cannot wait. Now that it is the holiday season, may I recommend that you check out some of Pentatonix's Christmas Music? When was the last time you wanted to dance to the carol "O Come All Ye Faithful" or "Joy to the World"? Ever hear an a Cappella group do a song without lyrics?...Check out their "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy". Enjoy!

Recorded in a closet. Filmed in a kitchen. Had a budget of $400. And they won a Grammy for it. The Grammy's had to create a whole new catagory just for this arrangement so PTX could win. They have a brand new christmas album out called Christmas around the World. And a new music video for their brand new song Prayers For This World. Avi has an amazing solo career now. Kevin has a lot of solo music, as does Mitch. Kirstie was on Broadway and she has a few collabs with just her and another artist. Scott just released his first solo MARS which is mind blowing. With the holidays coming up, you should consider dipping your toes into their extensive holiday catalog. I'm a new subscriber. I look forward to seeing more PTX reactions.

PTX ist genial und wenn du dich traust...🤪 - sie haben zahllose geniale Weihnachtslieder und davon fetzt Einiges richtig. Falls du Bock auf mehr bekommen hast, hier ein paar Vorschläge. Natürlich Bohemian Rhapsody, weil Kult 90s Dance Medley für die Teenie Erinnerungen , Gold (Kiiara Cover) für den ganz puren jamming style, trau dich auch mal an was episch Getragenes wie Amazing Grace und für HappyFeelgood empfehle ich dir Cheerleader oder Can You Feel The Love Tonight. Sound of Silence und Mad World gehen unter die Haut und so weiter... Ich höre jetzt auf 😅. Danke für deine reaction und nächstes Mal dann auf Englisch.. 😁

They're wonderful and I'm really happy to find your reaction. I hope you are not missing Voiceplay anyway... there are three great a cappella group. PTX, Voiceplay and Homefree. My favourite are Voiceplay because I love theatrical skills too and they are the best in conceiving wonderful videos. The three bands are top-notch on arrangements and sounds. I hope you will enjoy the 3 👍 P. S. Anyway my favourite band it would be Nanowar of Steel forever I literally discovered your channel thanks to them during the first French lock down

If you really want to see them completely change a song check out their Christmas song "O Come All Ye Faithful" because Kevin honors his Dad's Nigerian heritage with an African vibe. You will NEVER want to hear the old original song again.

Great reaction, gotta love Pentatonix and the way they handle everything they do.. Speaking of covers, how about checking out the kings and queens of covers, or as I would call it, upgrades and tributes ?! Liliac got it all to the max, an independent sibling band, 3 brothers and 2 sisters aged 13 - 22.. They do amazing tributes / upgrades of classic rock and metal songs, and got some really great originals aswell.. If you decide to check them out, here are a few suggestions - Originals - Mars (live in Cumming GA 2019) Sail Away (epic ballad) Nothing We Are The Children Dancing In The Dark Tributes - Piece Of My Heart - (live in Cumming GA 2019) Last In Line (requested by R.J. IMO the old PTX is better, to back up this statement. They made this vid in a closet. Not in a studio, at the cost of $400.00. Old PTX won a grammy for this medley, and have won a total of 3 grammy's. New PTX hasn't won any.
