This is kind of a nod to Pentatonix's beginnings, when their videos were filmed in one of their apartments with all of them sitting on a couch. This was filmed in New York because Kirstie was appearing on Broadway at that point, so to show how far they've come they're in a New York high rise apartment with nice furniture and even an orchid.

Thanks for reacting to this awesome Pentatonix video. I love this mashup and it is one of my favorites too. They don't let egos get involved and demand the spotlight or equal time on songs. They go with the voices that best serve the songs and determine who will sing lead, harmonies, backup, etc. They all know that harmonies and backup vocals are as important to the flow of the songs as the leads.

LOL TLC was actually the closest for the era of the beat. Everyone's already said it was Timbaland's beat on Aaliyah's Are You That Somebody. I have such memories of that one playing on Top 40 radio back in the day. This is one of my very favorites for PTX. Almost definitely my favorite Scott led song.

ALWAYS enjoy your honest reactions to PTX. Their Christmas album, "Evergreen", is up for a Grammy next month. "The Prayer" is on that album, so hoping you might consider reacting to it before the Grammy Awards show. Also, their star will be added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame just a couple of days beforehand. Another really great video to react to is their cover of "Gold" by Kiiara. If you're not familiar with the original, Pentaholics always recommends you watch it first. Just so you understand just what PTX did to their version.
