As others have said, if you get the chance to see them live, DO IT! It is an incredible experience. I have seen them 5 times, 3 of them from the front row and 1 from the 2nd row. It's not hyperbole to say that seeing them in concert is life-changing!

I love all of their performances here (especially Water), but for me, Avi and Kevin are the backbone of these songs. So under appreciated because they don't have the solos. I think I'm just drawn to them naturally. Great reaction!

Yep, all the songs except the MJ medley were original PTX songs. They did not do videos for Cracked or Water, but they did do an official video for Can’t Sleep Love. There is actually a fair few incredible covers and originals for which no video was ever made. We’re here for an audio reaction, any time! I just love Popspring! MTV did a great job filming and recording it! They are so amazing live.

Popspring is a Japanese music festival. PTX has a large fan base in Japan, and they enjoy traveling there. These 4 songs are only part of what they performed that year (2016). Their whole set was about an hour long. There is a fan-cam video up on YT that includes the whole hour, but these 4 were recorded professionally by MTV, so the quality is great! Kirstin and Mitch are big Anime fans, and are dressed as Anime characters. Japan is also where Kirstin and Ben got engaged last year while they were on tour, and it was part of the itinerary of their honeymoon recently after their April 21 wedding.

My very favorite Can't Sleep Love! Mitch's rap is the best!! But all of this performance is awesome. Your description of Scott and Mitch's relationship as "infectious" is perfect. They are so fun to watch in their Superfruit videos even though it's been a while ago. They always put a smile on my face!

Hello Saeed, Really enjoyed your reaction to this - as expected. PTX are just perfection every time. Originals and the MJ Evolution live, are all fantastic. The sounds in Water, the energy in Cracked and my favourite in this is Can't Sleep Love with Mitch's pwaw pwaw pwaw vocalizations, his sassy dancing, his rapping, his popping off into the stratosphere and then bringing it down with "Yeah". Mitch Slapped indeed. You said correctly there is much room for error - with A Capella, vocalizations, the timing, the harmonizing, the choreography, moving across the stage - but errors just never seem to occur with these five. They are always superb live on stage. Hope you get to see them perform live at some point.

Great reaction to all 4 songs! There is not an official video for Water, but it is one of my favorite original songs they have done, and it is a rare live Kirstie lead. I saw them do it in concert, including with that amazing backdrop video, and it was a highlight of the evening for me and my friends. So glad you were able to watch it live.

I'm glad you watched the PopSpring concert, which was professionally recorded, so you got to see that great background video, too. As you mentioned, when those water drops hit and Avi did his bass BOOM!, the whole arena shook!

Thanks Saeed! I’m with you, Kirstie’s Water is my fav in this group of performances. So lucky MTV professionally recorded this at the 2016 Popspring Festival in Japan. If you’re interested in more live performances, more recently they performed at the iconic Hollywood Bowl, professionally recorded, lots of clips floating around.

3 originals and the evo of Michael Jackson make this video amazing. Hearing that the evo videos are filmed a few times live and then they choose the best version is one thing, seeing them do this live with an audience while doing choreography is amazing. I love Water and Can’t Sleep Love and Cracked is good too. Videos like this ( with amazing solo by Kirstie) are the reason Pentaholics smile when brand new reactors say they like the videos they have seen but Kirstie needs a lead. Oh, when they deep dive into their over 300 song catalog they find quite a few feature Kirstie. Plus every song I have heard is unique and awesome. Some groups have a few great songs and a few more good songs, but with PTX you will love song 100 or 200 as well ❤❤❤❤❤ I appreciate your reactions

Seeing them live was such an amazing experience. All songs but the MJ medley are original. They have such good original music. Not all of them have videos, but all of them so dang good! I suggest you react to their originals even if there is no official music video. Water is one of my favorite PTX songs, but doesn't have a video. So much fantastic original PTX music!

Water was written by Kirstin. FYI. They are singing to a click track in their ear monitors. That’s how they stay in sync with the video and each other.

I think this is why, we, the Pentaholics, are so defensive when we watch reaction channels say negative things about them? It is because most of us have seen them live and are like, you don’t get it, they are even better live!! I fully believe they do not do an arrangement that they cannot do live. The MJ Medley here proves it, even though they did that in one, non edited video, they do Daft Punk live, they do BoRhap live, all great. They are like my favorite band Queen, I felt the same way about them, they did not write a song that they couldn’t do live, and do even better live. And they weren’t boring about it, Freddie said during the making of “One Vision”, “it’s risky”…..they faced it and didn’t run from it. Same with Pentatonix. 👍🏻

There are great songs on all Pentatonix albums that never got official videos and don't have any good-quality live concert videos. So I am really grateful for this because "Water" is one of my favorites from the 2015 self-titled originals album. IMO, they should have done official videos for all the original songs, but they probably couldn't afford it back then. Other great but neglected songs from the album -- "Ref", "Rose Gold" and "Light in the Hallway" (though an American Idol contestant sang "Light in the Hallway" a couple of years ago). You should consider reacting to some songs that don't have official videos. There are album audio videos and lyric videos for almost all their songs, and I think the fans would enjoy it.

Saw them live march last year in Western Australia which was their first trip there and they did not disappoint they were amazing very high energy kevin and matt where hilarious even my daughter had a awesome night 👍❤

hey Saeed, luv your reaction to this in this there are 3 originals and then the Evolution of Michael Jackson which could also be classed as an original as it's not just one of his songs but a mix-up of his career. I luv Water as well there is just something about it, another one that Kirsty is the lead for is 'Be My Eyes' but then again I don't think I've heard a song of theirs that I don't luv, all the best and keep up the great work

All of the songs - except for the MJ mashup - are originals - I don't think there are original videos for "Cracked" or "Water" - there is for "Can't Sleep Love" - I knew you would love this!!

You mentioned the ability to hold a beat when singing. PTX ,like many musicians, uses in-ear clickers when on-stage that can give them the beat and often a tone to keep them in pitch...some even prompt with the first word of a verse or line of a lyric. All the songs are original. Water is Kirstie's original, Heart of Glass is Scott's and I'm not sure if Can't Sleep Love is a group original or who wrote it. Maybe someone else knows? Thanks for this, Saeed!

So Cracked was written by Scott and Avi, Can’t Sleep Love was by the whole band and Water was by Kirstie and Kevin. That’s according to PTX.fandom

aside from the mj medley all the songs were originals. they have a lot of great original music, many without videos, just audio, but so worth it. 'happy now' has a video, 'anchor' and 'easy love' don't..

Love watching this reaction video I couldn't wait for you to get to this performance. This is 3 original songs and then the Michael Jackson medley.1 fun fun fact about water the last song ,, Is Kristy came up with the arrangement for that song. Don't believe there is a video unless it's just a lyric video on their channel it the song is on their album. I have to say though I personally prefer this live performance version those deep drops by Avi the wonderful Melody that Mitch lays Melody that lays down the harmonies is just incredibledown! Great reaction! 💖
