Doesn't Matt to a fantastic job singing the lead in the whole song? And since Matt was busy singing lead, Scott performed the bass for the entire song as well. Fun fact: "Dr. Seuss", the author of the children's book that is the basis for everything, also wrote the lyrics for the song!

Thank you for this is was great. Watching you so thoroughly enjoy and appreciate their magic is priceless. As in the previous comment, you really need to check out Mr Grinch LIVE from the Evergreen tour. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nJ10mZppxryqc30.html It's simply wonderful. They emerse the audience in the spirit of the song before they even start to sing. Matt leads it with nearly a Broadway flair. One of the BEST THINGS that I have seen in a really looooong time. This is my favorite version of this song. A close second is the Voctave version, which gives all three of their basses and baritones a chance to shine, and there's some additional humor there as well (the book and the pose at the end).

You should show him the live version by Pentatonix bc Kirstie's partner and their videographer plays the Grinch and they make a huge production out of it. Just search ptx mr Grinch live and several should come up. That was a good reaction too. You are right. Their egos never get in the way. Whichever person they think would be best for each part of the song gets to do that part. If you are ever interested in seeing how the arrange songs and record them and how well they work together you could watch the recording of evergreen. You have to do a reaction to the prayer first though or you will spoil it for yourself. Their Grammy nominated Christmas album from last year. They have 3 Grammys already and we will find out in a few days if they get their 4th Grammy.
