Being Pentecost Sunday may I recommend a little book called The Holy Ghost Our Greatest Friend, He Who Loves Us Best, by Fr. Paul O’Sullivan. It has a daily Consecration to the Holy Ghost which is what Fr. Chris recommends that we pray to The Holy Spirit every day, it’s a beautiful little book and filled with prayers and enlightenment.

We are so blessed to receive your weekly lessons which we can apply to our every day lives. I am so grateful for your role in my journey. I understand the importance of Pentecost, but had always considered that the second most important festival of the Church was Christmas, with Pentecost ranking third. I think it a pity that we no longer extend the observance of Pentecost until the Saturday like we used to. However we do have the feasts of Our Lady, Mother of the Church on the Monday and Our Lord the Eternal High Priest on the Thursday, with of course, Trinity Sunday on the First Sunday after Pentecost. Also anyone got any idea as to why many non-Catholics Christians refer to Pentecost as 'Whit Sunday'?

What parish was Deacon Jason Lewis referring to in Greensboro, N.C.?

Jesse Romero has a story about... "No one can say 'Jesus is Lord' except by the Holy Spirit" - 1 Corinthians 12 3 ; that story is in relation to Richard Ramirez (aka The Night Stalker (serial killer from the 1980's)) which will probably give people a bit better understanding of that verse from the bible. the gist of it went sort of like this... when Jesse was working in the prison system back then he wanted to see if the prisoners there could say 'Jesus is Lord' but did not tell them anything (so the prisoners did not know what he was doing) and then started asking some etc and when he got to Richard Ramirez and asked him if he could say one simple thing he would go get him some of the guards food (which was apparently better than what the prisoners ate). so naturally Ramirez agreed to do it, so then Jesse asked him to say 'Jesus is Lord' and Richard tried, but could not do it. some other killers there could say it, but apparently the killers more directly tied to satan could not say it and Richard was one of those types.

What is the pascal octave? It is like one day, and the 8 s day the most important! As you explained about Mercy Sunday! How is it, that vi don’t make a Pentecost octave ? It feels wrong for me! Why ? The feast for the Holy Trinity is like a bothering appendix, and our priest often express his difficulty about this feast. You are also talking abbaut Exitus et reditus, So the right Point will be , the end of Pascal tide should be the feast of the Holy Trinity. When you look at the famous Icon of Rublev, the Father sends the Son And Father and Son send the Holy Spirit, and thy come bag with the saved in their Arms or in their hearts The point should be the Holy Trinity ! Like Father Gatly says : In Him And with him...... It saddens me always, this depression about Pentecost And to the feast of Holy Trinity Here in our church is said, when the Priest greets the community, happy Ester ! to mark, its only the endpoint of Easter😰 ????? It is a work of Them Three. The Father is offering His Son , the Son gives him sev as Offer , and the Holy Spirit make it available to all mankind! So why no octave with the point .... reditus.... work done by all three , each their spesific work, one in Essence🥰🙏🙏🙏 The endpoint should be, that Jesus is at home with the Father in fulfilment of his mission!
