Martial arts are not sports. Not two teams scoring goals. It's about fighting that is visually like art for some reason for some people. Many people rather not do sports or martial arts, it's simply too understood as a stereotype.

My wife and son did Tae Kwon Do for 6 years. I used Marvel that they could do these things at tournaments. My son was a 2nd degree Black belt at 9 years old. Of course his mom was also, but a little older.

Everyone is different. And I agree with Nicolas Zan. Got to think what strengths and talents you have. I know it takes time to get better. One thing my Bujinkan Ninjutsu sensei said to me. A master has failed more times then a student even tries. Everyone messes up. But what counts is the work you put into what you are doing. :)

+MrPijus123 zenmaster here- it may take you 15 minutes but I bet you could learn the basics in that very same time. karate and tae kwon do are really not complicated at all. the hardest part about karate is learning to tie your belt. that one may take a while..

1 15 is choreographed and 0 50 is actually pretty simple with good accuracy, even multiple tries will get it, still impressive tho

+joe yonATHAN Shut up you don't know anything about Karate because Karate is a big part of my life and it has helped me gain confidence, courage ,and respect. But most of all I was able to protect myself from being attacked once ,and I have done Karate for so many years and it HAS helped me from being in danger. So please DONT EVER say that Karate is just a waste of time because one day YOU might be in danger and you might get beat up without knowing what to do. When I started Karate I also thought that it was a waste of time but I was wrong. VERY wrong.

Panda Kawai dude. All martial arts can proctect you from dangerous situations. If the attacker knows what hes doing karate might not be the best for self defense. Actually i take that back, it ddpends on style of karate you do. Kyukushin karate might be an exception. If your doing traditional, please know there are way more effective martial arts.

well you dont learn those in normal taekwon do training you need to specialize yourself in freestyle or train such things with some friends aside from normal training. And get bob because everyone loves bob

I'm totally sure you need an amazing amount of hard work and dedication to obtain such incredible, unrealistic skills, and i have tremendous respect for everyone in the video (probably 90% of them are people who practice Tae Kwon Do, and some Capoeira, and not much of other martial arts). In fact, i liked the video and put it in my favorites. Still, i'm pretty much sure that when a martial artist wants to showoff like that, he is being somewhat not true to his martial art. Martial arts moves are supposed to be effective and not simply cool, and to be practised for the sake of being able to defend yourself, and not to swagger on you tube. I know that this is just the result of their training, hence the demonstration of flexibility, control of their bodies, and agility they've mastered, but still it feels wrong that people who devote themselves to a philosophy decides to use that to show off
