It is because the language is a: naturally very poetic and b: musical lyrics are almost always written like poetry, to the point where there are types of poetry that are written so that singers will adapt and sing them in a specific style of music. Sanskrit, Urdu, Hindi and Dravidian languages are all very beautiful and very poetic.
