Okay, thanks. I have been watching lots of videos about Dagestan and one said you were from Turkey. I'd believe Norway, but not Turkey. After the Ice age, the caucass mountains are where all the people who settled Europe and elsewhere came from. So your the heart of the Indo-European peoples. The caucass are all of our peoples first homeland. That's very cool. So that makes us cousins from long, long ago.

Dagestan is partly safe. There is some insurgency in the capitol city, but that's something you can compare to gang criminal acts when it's at the top level. Some carbombs rarely. Maybe firefights some places sometimes. It's not much compared to other places. Dagestan is a very beautiful country. I think that it's worth seeing. One of the most historic and beautiful places ive ever been. It's just a real experience.

@dagestan Your video is a masterpiece indeed, making everything so clear. Indeed, only the Kumyk song, as you say, sounds like a typical Turkic language. However, most Dagestani languages must include numerous Arabic words imported into their vocabulary (same goes for the Kumyk vocabulary). And is it a coincidence that some of Marina Mustafaeva's songs sound so much like Arabic, that listeners who don't know Arabic would be sure that she is singing in Arabic ?

The Dagestan are a White people I never knew existed. They came from Turkey? Like from the City of Troy after it fell or Northern Turkey? The Celts or Gauls lived in Turkey, then most of them moved some place. Are the Dagestans a Celtic people? They look more Celtic than Turk or even Greek.
