Dear fellow Naga friends, I just want to encourage you all that: Christians should not affirm, participate or promote homosexuality, because it’s a sin. Homosexuality is one of the sexual sins in the Bible. If one chooses to live a sinful life, let them be but we can pray for them to turn away from such sinful behavior. We can love and care for them but not affirm their sins, actually any kind of sins. It is not a surprise for me that this ideology is being legalized in India and now getting into our state Nagaland, and that there are already some individuals that are trending homosexual lifestyles there. We are easily influenced by the western culture positively and negatively, and unfortunately negative influences are higher than the positive influences. Here in America, the lgbtq movement has gotten too far that it has become like a war between the Christians and this movement. It also has caused divisions among the Christians. Many churches have been divided because of this movement, there is also a battle between the parents and the school districts over this movement. Things are getting ugly here, and I would not want this to happen to our Naga community. Be on vigilant, spread the awareness to not to affirm this lifestyle if you are truly a born again believer. God loves everyone but only the ones that confess their sins and have salvation through Jesus Christ, who live and keeps the law of God will enter the kingdom of God. We cannot call ourselves “Christians” and live a sinful life. God is love but God is also a jealous God who wants to have us to Himself, He is also God of wrath who brings judgment to those who don’t keep His commandments. Support or no support, I couldn't care less. I've been in a happy and healthy relationship for almost 3 years now. I'll choose my partner over and over again over anyone. I may not be accepted in church, maybe even get chucked out when I marry her but I'm going to continue praying. My prayers are being answered today and it will be answered tomorrow. The opinions of mere mortals who do not care doesn't matter to me.. Neither will it affect my faith in God.
