I don't understand how anyone could say he doesn't deserve to live, or that she is wasting her time. It's her time to "waste" and he looks very happy and clearly loves his family. Just tell those losers it's none of their business.

If a dog is fully bedbound, too stiff to even walk a few steps to use the bathroom, or has to be force-fed with a syringe to eat, those are instances I can agree may be unfair to the dog. Having a disability that still allows for the dog to be with their humans and enjoy different experiences is not an indication of a wasted life. The dog is clearly happy, involved, and able to get around despite his condition, so I can’t really understand why anyone would look at him and think he is obviously suffering.

After seeing farm animals in sanctuaries, I believe that those animals with feelings and personalities include cows, pigs and chickens…animals with a face have friends, can feel fear and happiness. Starting my vegetarian journey at 62!

People who cannot see an animal has value and they deserve a good life have no heart, no emotion no insight and no feelings. When they attack or disparage the families giving them a great life they are being cruel and thoughtless. Maybe just say nothing if you’re going to say nothing good. They’re sad mean spirited people. I am so happy to see him smile. He really enjoyed his new life with his owner. She spent her time and efforts by helping him back into good health. He is grateful that he is able to get around. I have had three legs dog in the past and he was a wonderful dog to me and my family.

I am glad that you have him and he gets to experience fun things. He has friends and he gets carried around and he is in so much better health and he got to see the ocean that's pretty amazing! He is living his best life possible! What joy on his face. It reminds of when I watched iron man triathlons. A father brought his son who was in his twenties and cerebral palsy he devised a way to have his son with him on every stage of the race. I have never seen so much joy expressed by that young man. We are not the arbiters of how someone feels emotions. I bet your dog is happier than any who make negative comments ❤
