Hello Guys, In this video, I have shared my experience of exploring the tribal areas of Chittagong division of Bangladesh. I met Chakma people, Marma & Tripuri also. Tripuri people follows Hinduism & Chakma and Marma follows Buddhism. In Bangladesh there are many tribal people living in Sylhet, Dinajpur, Cox's Bazar, Mymensingh, Rajshahi etc. But the majority of tribal people live in Chittagong Hill tracts. It is the home of eleven tribes, the most beautiful indigenous people of Bangladesh. In this hilly area of immense beauty, eleven ethnic groups such as Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Tanchangya, Lushai, Pankho, Bawm, Mro, Khyang, Khumi and Chak live in harmony with nature. Among all of them the Chakma are the largest ethnic group in Bangladesh. The majority of them are Buddhists and the rest of them are Hindus, Christians etc

@@rajarshidas4240 It differs from person to person. A number of people eats it and others don't. Likewise as a Chakma I used to eat beef during ramadan (which muslim neighbours always used to give us ) but right now I don't really prefer it much.

The Tiprasa(Tripuri) of Bangladesh are the people of Twipra kingdom(now Tripura) under the Manikya dynasty that got divided. The Tripuris generally speak Kokborok(a branch of Tibeto-Burmese). The culture and tradition is awesome. Also the cuisine is very rich and healthy and they love Berma/aakran (fermented/dried fish). Ex- Berma mui(fermented fish dish), Chakwi, Awandru(of bamboo shoot),Wohan (Pig meat), Tohan(Chicken meat), Awan Bangui(Sticky rice).....and many many more. BTW- that smoking thing(like hukka) is called Daba(made of bamboo), and Bubuk means Intestine(generally of pig). There are many celebrations like Garia, Tring, Buisu Sena, Raas...etc.The traditional dress includes Risa, Rignai, Rikutu and the dances are also amazing. I really appreciate you for visiting them and learning about their lifestyle. I was waiting for a video like this for a long time. Come and visit Tripura. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for covering this and sharing your love.

@@k.dmanikyatripuri192 Actually Chittagong region was neither part of tripura and nither part of brithis till 1800 century...brithis through it's part of arakan(mynmer),and fact is that neither brithis and mynmer had control over it and british had no idea about it till 1800.. one marchant in 1800 century applied application to british goverment for doing business in this region and british came to knew that they had control over Chittagong region..... And also note bangla,bihar,tripura,urisha was a part of great bangal saltanat..pha, manikkho which was used by tripura raja given by bangali sultan(right now i can't remember the name,but u can serch it and sure about it)

But what they are doing they are going to madrasha instead of school and getting brainwashed by madrasha and joining in the path of terrorism . Here in west bengal Poush mela is very famous at Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's Shantiniketan. This great festival is held at Tagore's Shantiniketan in every year from the 23rd day of December. Various folk artists from every corner of West Bengal come to perform Baul songs. After Ganga Sagar mela ( 2nd largest in India after Kumbh ), Poush mela is the 2nd largest mela in West Bengal. People from all over India come to taste the flavor of this festival.

Deepanshu nice to see you exploring Bangaldesh, Amartya said Kochu and Pui saag, Kochu is a kind of tuber (corm) and Pui saag is a kind of leaf with red coloured stems, if you happen to visit West Bengal, you will get it here also. These are eaten as vegetables.

A few days ago there was a riot in Bangladesh. And from there a trend started Save Bangladesh Minority. The media mentions that the number of Bangladeshi minorities is decreasing day by day. But I suddenly noticed that the number of Hindus in Bangladesh has more than doubled from 1974 to 2019. Later I did research and saw that the number of people of all religions is increasing in Bangladesh. But the growth rate of Muslims is much much higher so the percentage of other religions is getting decreasing. But their population is not decreasing. The world has misunderstood here. After watching Nomadic Indian & Nomad Tour video in Bangladesh, I realized that the mixture of all religions is very good there. In a Muslim country, getting pork is a big deal. It is not right for some people to blame the whole country or religion.

There are many Indians who also hate bangladeshis because the majority are Muslims. Unfortunately, there are people on both sides that dislike each other for whatever reason.

I'm really proud to my Chakma tribe that they can speak in Hindi. Once we the Chakma are the supporter of India but unluckily we are devided into Bangladesh and India during partition. Thanks Devanshu Bhai for showing us Bangladesh. Love from Arunachal Pradesh. Come and visit to Arunachal.

Chakma’s originally supported Pakistan because they wanted to stay with Bengalis instead of other north eastern tribes.. That's why they were added to Pakistan. During the Pakistani rule many of them migrated to India. And after independence of Bangladesh a lot them came back and established in Bangladesh.

Admirable how he sometimes provides accurate information on the places he visits, such as the ongoing conflicts, and some geography and history information. Important to show that you do good research. Just wish he talked a little slower and took more breaths in between. Be careful out there. Lots of boat accidents in Bangladesh rivers. And road accidents and other things in other places.

9:10 Medicine is referred as "Oshudh" in Bangladesh. Maybe in Chakma Language,Medicine called as "Daru". In Chittagonian regional Language we say medicine as "Dabai".

Loved your Bangladesh series a lot brother...never felt that Bangladesh is so similar to India specially northeast India...when you were in non tribal areas of Bangladesh it felt as if you are somewhere in Dhubri district of Assam bcz the landscape felt similar..and when you visited the tribal areas of CHT it felt as if you are in the whole of NE India at once..bcz the language, culture, landscape, food , tribes are so similar to NE India...being an Assamese I can understand a lot of words in this video bcz those are similar to assamese language..specially i felt the language that the tripuri uncle used is very similar to assamese bcz of the words like "najay" , "juk" which are assamese words...it is sad that border divided us...but we'll remain similar through our shared cultures...lots of best wishes to you brother...from Bongaigaon, Assam..

TRIPURIs are culturally and historically rich. Great to see our people there 💕💕 Whole Chittagong division was part of great Tripura Kingdom. As you can see even today there are lakhs of Tripuris living there🤝💪💕 Not only Chittagong, parts of greater districts of Comilla, Noakhali and Sylhet and the entire Chittagong Hill Tracts region and Akyab province of Arakan (presently under Myanmar) were within the kingdom of Tripura for several centuries. 💕💕💕 from Tripura, India 🇮🇳🇮🇳💕💕

kochu - Arvi, pnui shaak - vietnamese spinach, the variety of vegetables in Bengal region is at the next level, compared to that North Indians do not have much options. CHT seems like full of water, greenery, and many things are grown, apart from fish & pork....people must be happy over there.

In Gumati there is a place called Tirthamukh where most of the tribals who are mostly Tiprasa they come to worship and Asthi Bisarjan at Turthamukh . During pouch Sankranti ( Makar Sankranti)
