A lion can be a panther, any big cat all of one color can. So the dumb part is PINK and should be in all caps, not panther.

@@flowrpowrera Not sure about the "all of one color" bit. As far as I know "panther" is a generic term for all big cats, even the ones with markings of their fur, like tigers, leopards or jaguars. Leaving aside the fact that pink is not a likely color for a big cat, if Pink Panther is supposed to be male, then he doesn't look like a lion, as he lacks a mane. Maybe he's some ultra rare pink variant of leopard, but I'm most inclined to believe that he's a mutant jaguar or cougar, as he seems to be living in North America.

I've only ever heard mountain lions, black leopards, and jaguars called panthers.

I worked for the welfare department for almost 17 years. The only time a woman took a DNA test was part of proving the man was her child's father in ordering child support or establishing paternity (need both sets of DNA). A birth certificate proves that the woman is the mother and all that was required for welfare. Unless there is a suspicion of fraud, women are not getting DNA tests otherwise.

I wonder every day how such people survive as I have to experience such people getting jobs in powerful positions and then mess innocent people's lives up. How do they get through the job interview, any possible assessment tests etc? Ah well, we all know how... sorry to be so gross but they get through it on their knees...

Some people lied on their competence, and no one take the time to make a better look. Specially people with good talking. There are people who know how to sell themselves very well just by talking. It happened to my old dumb boss. He hired an animation manager. I was responsible for two children's holiday centers. He was responsible for the children and the animators, I for the buildings, the kitchen and the staff. It turned out he had been lying. He worked in security before (nothing unusual here) BUT had brought his service gun ! A GUN ! In a center with 80 children aged 7 to 17 ! During the game of "the hawk goes hunting", to launch the starting signal, he took out his gun and fired to the sky. The children were surprised by the noise, but they are children. They had their heads in the game. It was the animators who understood and were afraid. He fired with a real, loaded weapon, which he carried in the elastic band of his pants. No protection. Same day. A child got injured and the 18-year-old animator who was with him panicked, I had to fend for myself when it wasn't my job to reassure the child and the animator, to call the help, and go with the child to the hospital because he, the manager, had turned off his phone and locked his door at 11 am to take a nap. The animator had a group of 6 children, he could not leave. I had to give up the two houses and leave my new staff because of him. My boss was furious and fired him immediately. He did some research and found that in the previous colony he had been fired and lost his degree because he had caused a car accident and injured a child. But since he had been able to sell himself well, my former boss had made the mistake of not calling to get his references.

Cougars as well, I think. I once heard that panthers roar and don't purr, while felines purr and don't roar. :) A bobcat is a feline, though. It's basically a lynx, I think.
