That's one of the reasons I love dogs. I had a pit mix named Sage, he was my best friend. Through boyfriends, moves, ups and downs he was always there. He helped so much when my depression was really bad. I loved him a lot. Unfortunately he passed due to cancer. He was really the best. I can't wait till my next dog.

I love how people with the biggest commitment issues actually have huge hearts and they just need someone with some unconditional love.

Being able to foster and put a living being's needs before yours is an exercise in true selflessness and it is incredibly rewarding. Even if it hurts to let them go, the joy you get daily knowing you gave them the opportunity they needed makes everything worth it.

Wonderful video! "Man's Best Friend" truly shows in this! If you commit to your puppy/dog they will shower you with praise, love, and utter happiness! I'm thankful for my boy every day and he's super thankful for me as well.

Animals are not helpless. They're probably the only ones left who can teach us love,compassion and trust. We humans have been busy judging and hating each other,thereby making each other's lives so hard. All that pure affection comes for free. Sometimes all a dog expects is a head rub and a good boy/girl and that moment will light you up

Tbh, this is horrible for the dogs. The poor little puppies probably thought they found a forever home, and after a week they're back in the shelter.

I foster litters of puppies and each dog takes a little piece of my heart with them. I give them love and then let them go. It's hard but sooo worth it. Plus who doesn't want to be around puppies (up to 12 at a time) all day? ❤️❤️

I have a bun for 10 years but never had relations for more than 5 months, and I guess I never will! Animal love is so much different than humans. Having a pet will convince you to stay single but with a pet forever, and honestly, it is amazing!

They shouldn't foster puppies because the puppies aren't the ones that need help. If you're going to foster a dog JUST to help out, foster a senior! Or a dog that DOES need help! Puppies have no issues getting adopted. On one exception, if they have a serious health problem. Just sayin

Lol!! my baby gave birth to an entire seven litter pupps. I had zero sleep for 8 weeks, and their momma was all to happy feeding them while she lay there snoring. I swear I felt like it was MY babies. thank gosh that's all over....owning a dog truly is a life long commitment. Proud owner of 5 very energetic Jack Russels, very exhausting...but SO worth it!!

Totally agree with the previous comment, I’ve never had a dog, for one simple reason, it would absolutely destroy me to lose them, there’s no way I could foster one and not keep it. Most people think I’m your typical big tough guy, because I’m pretty muscular, and apparently pretty intimidating, but what most people don’t know is I have a really soft spot for dogs, cats, and almost every animal on the planet! Why? One simple reason, unconditional love, no matter what you go through in life, as you come home there is that free little thing just waiting to greet you, jump all over you, give you kisses.....And there’s no way I could handle losing that. I know it sounds like a weird reason, but I’ll tell you one thing, I kind of lied when I said I’ve never had a dog or cat, when I was about six my sister, who is six years older than me, who also loves animals brought home a stray dog she found, and although we only had him for about two weeks until we found his owner, I think I fell in love with him within the first two minutes. I remember vividly, bawling my eyes out for weeks after we had to give them back, and I must’ve drove my parents insane begging them for a dog, but the problem is my parents both worked full-time, and there was nobody home during the day, plus we did a lot of activities on weekends that took us out of the city, sometimes out of the country, and my parents said it wouldn’t be fair to the animal to leave it alone that much, and I guess they were right. I absolutely love pets, but especially puppies, put a puppy in my arms and I go from a big strong tough guy to a puddle on the floor! I don’t tell anybody, that’s why I love the Internet, nobody will ever know who I really am, so I can spill my guts and get away with it!

There's one problem by doing this and not adopting the dog. The dogs are actually will love you no matter what happened and it's really hard to move on. he will never understand why you leave him and they would waiting for you no matter when. i had a former dog. I'm take care of her for 3 years until my brothers went to born and we couldn't take care of this dg anymore. so we realize we need to find someone to adopt this dog. finally my cousin's wanted to adopt it. every year i came to their house for visiting their family cause we always had family reunion every year in their house. everytime i came to their house the dog always seems so happy and spending all his time hour of hours hugging and licking my toes and faces. so my suggestion is one you take care of a dogs you probably need to know where their gonna going so that you could visit them anytime. so the dog atleasy know where their owner going on.

This is the struggles of when you get a puppy. The poop, lack of sleep and guilt when the dog is being clingy and crying. I couldn't foster a dog as the dog gets attached to you and I'd feel so bad giving it back.

My family used to foster,but we don’t anymore for whenever we do foster we end up keeping the doggo or cat. My current dog is a dog we had fostered but ended up staying with us for life for we just fell in love with him. And the cat we fostered my sister wouldn’t give him up so we ended up adopting him as well. We had another but he was my moms foster dog and she could no longer properly care for him for she had lost her job so she found a good home for him. Up in the mountains with a family that live on a ranch with other animals and two other dogs for him to play with. So after Blue left my dad said no more fostering for we seem to end up keeping the animals.
