I can get where you are going from! I have given my Eldest son, who is now 43, commander in the Navy, and who I got started on computer at age 4 with an Apple IIe, my main password for Last Pass which he also uses! It was so complicated and long as it is in a native language I have learned. He just looked at me and said mom take a picture of it and send it to me! I have told my kids that they will need to "shut me down" when I pass. As I have been working on computers since 1984. My second son works for Apple - his job is more secure than Fort Knox! It was a dream job he haphazardly landed when Apple bought the business he had been working for - for 15 yrs. My kids will have a night mare with all my digital files and external hard drives! as I am a huge big back up junkie!! I do a back up on Dec 31st to Jan 31, every year, clean up and delete and back up. I have gone thru a house fire where we lost everything! I happened to not be home when this happened, AND had my externals with me and DO NOT STORE EXTERNALS IN MY HOUSE! BUT A CREAM CAN - ON THE FARM kinda buried - as fires will totally destroy an external! Just found your channel - as I do have some questions I am trying to solve figure out! As I prepare to wipe my 2013 iMac clean again and do a complete reinstall. Something I have done periodically. Good luck in your business venture! It is a great idea!! Something I should have done 20 yrs ago! But for now I can help in the Geriatric bracket of users, as I am 63! and all I have learned has been via hands on and just figuring it out! Was too busy raising kids and farming to attend college to get tech degree!

Great to meet you Becky and I love this back story! A whole lot has changed since the first Macs in 84... my first Mac was the LC 575 when I was in grade 10 (1995). :) If you ever want a hand getting your files / backup organized please reach out. I can get you up to speed on some of the most current backup and syncing type options to make things a bit easier for your family! Lucas iPhone 604-786-9779

Hello, Lucas. I contacted you last night about learning about setting up Adobe Photos. I have a starter phone call scheduled with Kadir this Wednesday. This video, about planning for death, is great info. I actually have a 40 page password-protected Word document for my family that gives all of the significant health, financial and computer info for me and my wife. I also have a critical summary of this in our safe deposit box, which our daughters have access to. Thank you.

Great - I will let Kadir know about your youtube comments chat so he has the background. He and I talk daily. :) The starter phone call is just to talk "face to face" or by voice to find out what your questions are and make sure we can help with those so you aren't wasting money with us. You can also ask him about how we work etc. - Lucas
