Regarding taking unnecessary losses or draws that cost us the title. Take as example, the 3-3 draw against promotion team Brentford in the 2021-22 season, as it was only 1 point difference in the end with Man City. Or the 0-0 draw against Everton near the end of the 2018-19 season, with LFC missing out by just 1 point to Man City again. Meaning, we have seen it time and time again, that LFC were leading the table, like this 2023-24 season, and then, just buckled under some form of pressure and a lack of quality or depth in the team. Missing the edge to win and bring home trophies. The team and Klopp takes responsibility for this, but also FSG. Knowing the net spending has put Liverpool on 8th place in the Premier League and putting them under West Ham United. And wondering what would have happened had they just spend a little more money on players.
