Love the Romero's work ethic, though for that charming young girl I would recommend that if she loves guitar, it is wise and fundamental to learn piano. If I could replay my youth, I would pursue both instruments. Why? Because the most fundamental ability to hone is to pre-hear musical phrases in your inner "mind's ear" along with the technique to play with intention. This skill is a key to developing musicianship which is like an iceberg - most of it is unseen as the subconscious mind. One develops a kind of dissociative mindset and anticipatory listening in the flow.

I concur For me , I spent so much time listening to Joe Hisaishi and then Yiruma, Hence, when "listening" to the music as it comes out of my guitar as a reflection of life around me,, in moments of "virtuosity" , as he describes the word, that I am a guest in,, Peices and movements sometimes engulf, that are new, but when I can keep them so to play again, and musing upon them, I can hear the movement influence of these two as probably my main two listening sources, However, sometimes Bach, or various others I will notice appear in compositions
