Super review Lloyd. Its interesting how much you can see that you enjoyed reviewing these two Perazzi sporters, whilst still owning a K-80 I believe during this time frame. While the K-80 is definately is great sporter in its own right, the Perazzi has dynamics unlike any other shotgun in its category. Really super reviews, thank you again !!........ Rob G. in MO, USA

@@lloydyp Yes sir. I have watched your video showing your trip to Perazzi factory, many times over. Incredible gun you had built for you. I agree that to really appreciate a bespoke gun such as this, a trip to their factory to be fitted, and pick out wood, rib style, etc., is the only way to go. Keep up the great work and all the best to you.

sold, i know a guy with a nice Perazzi for sale and i never took him serious. Now i need to take a look at the Perazzi right away. I have to have a perfect working trigger or i shoot terribly bad, triggers can mess with my world. In my mind i needed a DT11, and Perazzi were for.... well, for people who love Perazzi

Another fantastic review ! Was wondering however, why Perazzi chose to go with coil springs on their "S", over their incredibly fast (lock time) leaf springs on their standard MX2000. I'm still surprised on how some shooters underestimate the importance of a fine trigger ! I truly believe you won't find a dedicated competitor shooting a "sloppy" trigger. Once again I find your review spot on.........and look forward to your next. Regards, Frank

As the mx8 detachable trigger you can change the leaf spring if broken.. But in mx12 non detachable trigger they use the coil spring that will not gonna brake .. My shot gun is mx12 in 2000 grade.

I believe George Digweed is quite a dedicated shooter using a coil spring gun (MX2000S).

Thanks for putting these videos out. I've come back to the Perazzi ones multiple times. My reason for writing today is because I had to bring my Winchester 21 up to a shop in the Northern part of NYS for rib work. The shop stocks Perazzi as well as several other brands. Although I'm NOT in the market for a new gun I made a mistake. Big mistake, H U G E mistake! I started handling a few of the Pre owned Perazzi guns that are on the rack. And now I'm looking at all the info I can and thinking "if I sell a kidney I can purchase one without digging into savings". Do I need one? Of course not. Do I want one? OH YEAH! Thanks again and keep the great content coming.

Morning Lloyd can you please tell me if a 2014 Mx2000s would it be steel proofed ? Love your channel 👍👍
@lloydyp5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul, I wouldn't like to make a sweeping statement on that without checking the barrel proof marks. A guide for proof marks can be found here: basc.org.uk/technical/ suggest if you are looking at buying a gun you get the seller to send you pics of the proof marks on the barrels and monobloc.

Very different guns Wolverine. I am genuinely torn. Thinking about the important thing, e.g. fit, the "standard" stock dimensions on the blaser are a better fit on me out of the box than most perazzi, but that may not be the case for you. Every perazzi is different, as are we, so honestly I would suggest shooting as many as you can get your hands on before making a decision. Both are excellent guns, but again due to the individual nature of perazzi guns, it's really hard to say what you will like best.

Thanks, Wolverine. I am afraid I can't comment on the Gamba as I have never actually handled one. Based on what I have read they appear thoughtfully designed and well put together but having never seen one let alone shot one I cant comment.

Has anyone else cringed, as Loyd was handling these guns with his ring on. At one point heard your ring smack the side of the stock, and then grab the top rib as you dragged it down. I'm a hands on guy myself, however if these are not your guns may I suggest taking your rings off during the review. Still a fan brother!
