Semi Final in Mohali was his chance to become star/legend but he failed like many times before and after. He was talented but not a gutsy player, never took charge, never dominated a game. Hamesha right left logo ko dekhta raha. Kabhi 100 maar k match nai jitaya. Senior players ki izzat karte rehna, un se dictation lena, is k lye zyada zaroori hai, chaap loosi kar k team mai jaga bana lena, jab k acha player apna game apni marzi se khelta hai. In short, Is ka mind set kharab tha. I feel sorry for him. He should play leagues and earn money.

You shouldve asked him why did he disrespect the coach & the entire pak team during the champs trophy '17 in England by pulling his trousers down & flashing his gentiles to mock the coach n captain..which resulted of him being sent home (rightly so)...he talks being a role for his kids when he absolutely FLOPPED in that & now crying playing the victim card. Wasim Akram rightly so said about him "umar is digging his own grave" ...its nothing to do with cricket or his ability to the sport its all about the right attitude, he should have seen that in his early days with that other broken English Shoaib Akhtar who used to get sent home form abroad on a regular basis for bad behaviour. Hes to blame for his own down fall & no1 else
