My opinion if he stays in lightweight next def can be Magomed Ankalaev. Jamahal Hill needs a win before rematch against Chama Jiri and Jamahal could fight next. If he moves to Heavyweight Tom first has to lose his next fight then they can think of Alex Vs Bones but I think Derrick Lewis Vs Alex would be great to step into heavyweight I mean Derrick Lewis has fought the best people before and has been around for a while would be a great fight. Imagine Tom vs Alex on ultimate fighter winner gets a fight with Bones himself 😅😂

Probably some but he’s at the point in his mma career where he almost had to take the fight after being in camp so long and having to pay the team and gym . These lower tier fighters are pressed for money so they’ll usually take whoever comes at this level

Lopes making 45 then getting shafted by Ortega's team at 3 in the morning to switch to 55, then getting switched again and having to weigh in at 65 instead of just fully rehydrating would for sure have had an impact to his gas tank.

Honestly, both were winners imo. Ik Lopes got the win before people jump on me but both fighter's stock goes up after this. Ige stepped in on 4 hours and Lopes got fucked around and had to go up essentially 2 weight classes (near enough). Win Win for both and a great fight to watch.

Ige showed OUT for coming in on 4 hour notice. Props to Diego too. Had to make 3 different weights. Very underwhelming for MVP fight. MVP only one who wanted to do something, Ian Garry just waited and never seeked to start an exchange. He talks a lot to fight the way he does.

I think you are first i have seen say this and i feel it is insightful. You said the cut could also get worse and i wonder if doc may have considered that. Just gonna be targeted as good strategy.
