Hi Brendan well done for facing the criticism and not being a watch brand snob as you normally talk about very expensive watches but like me I think you take lots of different ways of looking at watches. I do like the higher end watches like Rolex as they produce a brilliant watches and they hold the value mostly.but i am willing to buy the more affordable watches and don't care about them holding the value as long as the watch looks good.i buy a watch because i like it not because someone likes it .that's why i own expensive and more affordable watches this watch looks really great I'll check it out thanks John.

@@BrendanBoswell thanks for your reply have looked into this watch it is hard to criticise this watch at the price point.but there's a few things that concern me the accuracy of the movement has quite a big swing . the power reserve is on the low side can you service this watch? and where would you take it? Not a big fan of the make of the watch being engraved on the side of the case. Not a big fan of the straps over branded and the crown looks small and not very waterproof.but the overall look is extremely good for the money and maybe asking too much of this watch considering the price.i wonder if you're going to have the same opinions when you review this watch thanks John.

@@JohnBowman-ut4dz The watch is $259 - servicing will likely set you back more than that unless you have a very affordable independent watchmaker in your contacts that would work on Chinese movements. So it probably won't make a lot of sense to even think about servicing. Though I am sure it's not a very complicated movement to work on. Just realized this watch retails lower than the new leather strap (without buckle) for my IWC - sigh. Sometimes I doubt my hobby. LOL

@@BrendanBoswell iPad Pro. Your videos always play in 720p on my devices and the lighting is drab, sorry, that watch looked awful. Fine for your normal insights but no good for show casing watches mate when others are showing videos in 1440p /4k with good lighting. Please accept this as constructive criticism, I’m not trying to give you a hard time.
