Can't see how it is possible to go to failure consistently at 20 reps. In a compound exercise a subtle change in posture recruits different muscles that will always allow you to get an extra rep or two.

I stopped lifting weights last year after 7 years of heavy lifting and multiple induced injuries. One year on, and I feel that resistance band training offers me better contractions and can feel the utilisation of functional strength. No injuries as of yet and my results are very satisfying. Thanks for the informative videos.

Covid has me working out at home. Every clip I see is in the 20 rep range. About the maximum number of reps I've ever allowed myself. Even at that, it is hard to tell if I am going to failure. Can't see how it would be any different with bands.

Thats great to know, i also have several weight lifting related injuries after several years of hard lifting, perhaps maybe bands allow greater blood flow hence reduced injuries? We should talk, i would love to get some pointers.

Lol you will turn into a calisthenics bro. That's cool, I'm half calisthenics and half gym when its open. Resistance band and calisthenics exercises are GREAT because it has much less risk of injury and increases mobility you can't get with machines. You workout way more muscles per workout with bands and calisthenics. My hand stand pushups alone works my core, shoulders, triceps, back muscles, wrist and palms with some other muscles for stabilization. That's the insane part, less workout but way more effective. However the weights are superior for gains in my opinion. If you want to get really big, get to the gym. If you want to be lean, compact and muscular like a Jaguar, calisthenics is the way but you have to constantly do new workouts and rotate them before your body adapts.

Out of all the home workouts that I have seen on KZfaq, these are by far the best ones I have found. If you haven't watched the others I would recommend you do. Thanks for taking the time to do them.

Fouad you have been a blessing through all of these rough times man. I got hit with bad anxiety from studying during nursing school and lost almost 20 lbs. But watching your videos and workouts has helped me tremendously and I've been able to put 10 lbs back on so far. Thank you truly for all you do man!

Found myself legs are not much less chalenging at home then at the gym with all fancy equipment. As long as quarantine its not an excuse. When im using big weights at gym sometimes failure coming before i feel that deep burn. I dont have 5 plates for squats obviously so gotta try destroy them differently. Drop sets,giant sets ets. Put my wife on shoulders for last exercise, 4 sets 15 reps, deep slow squats, after every set sis squats with body weight and burn was unreal. Few different exercises perfectly executed before and im laying on sofa now fighting with cramps. No excuses , theres is always a way!

Fouad i just wanted to let u know that ur videos are amazing and i love watching your meal preps and cooking videos especially. it’s hard to come across ppl like u in the fitness industry nowadays. someone legit, no bullshit, no promotion/sponsor shit, tells the real information simply and understandable. i’m 15 yrs old and i currently weigh 230lbs. I appreciate all the invaluable training you are giving us. These exercises you are demonstrating is going to help me maintain a good and strong Mauy Thai kick when I train. I have a bag in my garage and bands. Iv'e been hitting it hard since this pandemic started and my local MMA school and gym are closed. I've had to modify my workouts just like everyone else. I've been doing Muay Thai for 13 years and I'm going to hit 54 in a few days. So I don't have the time like many. I still put out hard and strong. Running 3.3 mile, 7 to 8 - 3min. rounds on the bag, 4 - 3min rounds on my speed bag work, and now Iv'e implemented your workouts and its helping me tremendously. Again, I want to thank you for all your hard work on these videos. God bless and stay safe.

Using short bands makes the pistols easier. You step on it, grab the band on the side of the working leg. It acts as a counter balance to the raised leg/arm on the way up.

Another great video. Pistol squats are killer. The legs curls with bands give a very unique contraction. A good idea is to put a cushion or something like under your hips so that the are above the level of your knees. This gives a slight decline feel to the movement.

Shack I think it’s better without raising your hips. If you raise your hips you’re more likely to lift your butt which is wrong

@@FouadAbiad I hear what you are saying, but I find placing something under my hips replicates the arc of most leg curl machines. Plus doing them flat seems to put a strain on my lower back for some reason. Maybe it's because I'm tall. It's all about finding out what works for you and you body. Keep the videos coming.

hell yea. i just got some bands cause im working 65-70 hours a week now so i was looking for something i could do on my break. im 280 and lift pretty heavy but surprising enough im getting a much better workout then i thought i would of, just wasnt sure how to use em well. Glad to see a pro bb make a vid on it.

Re the leg curl workout. I found using tube bands with the anchor block underneath the bottom of a door more effective than using flat bands. Tube bands have two individual cuffs for each leg. While some may be thinking what's the difference compared with the leg curl in the clip, all I can say is there is a difference. Either way this is the only band exercise that scares the hell of of me. Leg curl machines having nothing on this exercise. Expect pain...and if you are really unlucky the hams will cramp.

I have started following your home workout post. As a bikini competitor, I don't lift as much as you do but I can adjust down the reps and resistance to make it work for me. Great workout selection Fouad. I tried every exercise and worked pretty well. The only one I could not perform to my satisfaction was a back squat variation due to an awkward band placement. Thank you for demonstrating a proper form.

I tried this today. I got a good burn in the quads and hamstrings. Kept reps high until I could barely do another.. I like having an option to use a band. Very portable!

Pulling the bands overhead also creates a lot more resistance for the squads. I’m not a fan of single on each arm because they aren’t stretched enough when you go down.

Got a set of dumbbells with varying weights back in late '18 cause i didnt have time to go to the gym....it's 2020 and we in lockdown....best decision ever....i suggest investing in a mini gym at home for situations like that....gyms are overrated imo..but hey if thats what floats your boat,more power to you, i dont roll like that.✊✊

After using the workouts for a while I checked out Hosstile and wow there is not only a bunch of great supplements but also a huge amount of info to enhance my workouts. I soon plan to try out the protein and aa once I work a bit more. Haven't used a preworkout but might try bloodshot as well. Thanks for the video glhf

I’m a Gym Manger this quarantine has mad me realize that fitness is a culture that should have been treated with more respect. Just to take the gym away with out any game plan to get them reopen ... RUDE! Thank you for sharing you home workout 🏋️‍♂️ it’s needed in our community

Have you ever tried the KLA resistance band from Anderson Powerlifting? Their heaviest band have 320 lb of resistance. It's madness!

This is really good shit. I don't like bands over both shoulders because there's no tension at the bottom. But the rest is a BIG help.
