Perfect Block and Shield Slam are actually kinda pog when you don't have gear. Much less useful the moment you can get a heater shield, but you'll still shred barbarians.
Honestly, this video showcases low PDR shield fighter gameplay more than anything. High speed, good damage, if you get hit; skill issue.

heater shield actually blocks for a small moment after the attack on the left side of your character. it successfully blocks up until it is back to its normal place.

"Welcome to range and ranger" honestly the state of the game rn. It's just ranger barbarian everywhere with the occasional infinite sustain warlock or rogue landmine. As a wizard main, it pains me.

To be honest your first (And only true) fight at the beginning with the barbarian was a perfect example why this combo works. However the rest of the video is mixed with missed shield slams and crossbow/axe throws. As exciting as this COULD be. It can't won't work majority of the time. Simply due to other comps. Video was fun to watch. However, "Perfect Block is actually GOOD?" - It. Is. Not.

Not even cause of other comps; the desync in this game leaves blocking to chance, yes you can learn to block well, but the game totally will screw you with lag allowing you to be hit, it's sad but hopefully IM can get it together soon

perfect block should be a perk, useless as a skill compared to sprint or second wind honestly, shield slam and second wind can work well if they made it a passive perk they could just make it activate for the same duration upon a successful block, and you can still run 2 good skills

Barricade itself is such a good perk that i cant imagine needing perfect block as a skill. Feels like nothing except a roared Barb or someone with great hit place placement with longsword or Zweihander have a chance. Most Cleric, Barb, and Fighter matchups are ez wins in even situations where the opponent doesnt block or doesnt block and trade well at all. War Mauls are scary AF to deal eith still though 😮

No just no. Shield bash is Ass and perfect block is only good bra bosses. Maybe you were winning because everyone else was so bad and basically naked compared to your purples/gold

sprint is basically mandatory but shield bash pretty good after recent buffs, if you are mainly sword and board and have enough healing its not the worst thing to use pb imo harder to justify but it has a niche especially vs large weapons
