i really think dwindle/dsm boards(almost, enjoi, etc.) are the best quality/value boards you can get, especially the impact/impact light boards. they seem to get overlooked, which is a shame. as far as trucks, sometimes i like them a bit narrower than deck, sometimes same width, sometimes a bit wider. i find an 8" deck with 8.25" ventures and a wider wheel(bones x97, 56mm, v6 shape) the edge of the contact patch of the wheel is about even with the edge of the board which gives a really nice stable feeling

Most people don't want to skate dwindle boards anymore. They got sold to a huge company and most pros quit them (Almost and Enjoi for example).
