I can't get over the look on Clary's face when she sees Simon! Say what they say here there was character chemistry. And I say this because I watched the series and she was more worried about Simon than Jayce and it was noticeable in the scenes when one couple is worried about another, it was more noticeable that Clary was worried about Simon in scenes she also had with Jayce and the difference between these two was very remarkable. Although the couple with Jayce is top, it does not mean that Simon and Clary did not have more chemistry. Do not come to tell me!!! It's because they were or are friends because it doesn't matter, chemistry is chemistry, period.

People need to understand that what's in the books is not translating on screen. Climon is beautiful & Clace feels contrived. Which is ironic due to the books. The television show is what matters now. In it they are beautiful. She is his everything. The man he is is priceless. The way she lights up when she looks at him. He is her rock. There's no one like him to her. On the other hand. Jace comes across brash, arrogant & egotistical. He's like a classic jerk. Him & Clary have zero chemistry also. Which doesn't help matters. They can't even have a darn conversation or interaction. Jeez. It feels forced & uncomfortable or at best okay. Doesn't translate how it's supposed to. People are just on the train due to the books. Either Dom is a crappy actor or the chemistry is just something that's natural & we can't fake. Kat & Alberto have it & Kat & Dom don't.

wow, i thought i was the only one who think like that, to me this jace is not the jace of the books, he is arrogant and nothing more, following clary like puppy, that is not the jace of the books, who pretended not to care about clary and acted like an idiot all the time. In the books, yes, im definily clace, but in the series im climo. im sorry i have a bad English,I hope you can understand me haha.

I think what people are seeing is Kat and Alberto's real-life friendship coming through. They are much closer than Kat and Dom are in real life and Kat clearly feels extremely comfortable with him. It's an ease that she doesn't have with Dom.
