Even if the new is overwhelming, you can still take care of yourself and do your nails for a bit of a bright spot in your week. This full nail reset / spa day / care routine is something I do around once every two weeks, I'm trying builder gel on this hand to see if it works well for me too but if you want to get into gel PLEASE do your own research, it's quite complicated and you can develop an allergy if you use it incorrectly!!!

Literally me, consumerism and self-care have just become coping mechanisms at this point. I'm chronically ill and I feel like this is the only way I get to gain some control over my life and my body, and experience some sense of joy and achievement lol. Even on the days where I'm in such pain that I can't get out of bed, at least I have cute nails!

This is a mirror of my life. I struggle with depression and oof, is it tough. A lot of the time, my nails are the only thing that gets done. I do have a support system that, while small, keeps me going (even if it's just to the next day). Just remember that your happiness is still adding something to the equation of the universe and that until you're unalive, it's never too late to make a difference and/or change something. ❤

Since you're using builder gel, I hope did buff the surface of your nail after all since thats a necessary step in the application if you want them not to peel off and damage your nails even more.
