Great video with good tips! I really enjoyed the end with the music and the scenery. Because we cruise a lot with Royal Caribbean, we have been to the island several times. The last time we went we chose to stay on the boat and take advantage of a practically empty cruise ship. We hung out at the pools which is usually a massive crowd. Keep up the good work! ❤

I absolutely love the Coco cay. I’m not being partier but you don’t have to be in order to enjoy this island. Or if you are a big partier it accommodates that too. It was just a feel good Island for anybody and everybody.

I went to Coco Cay last summer on the Symphony and had an amazing time. I grabbed a Wave Jet tour excursion on Black Friday deal for a good price and it was super fun. Only wish we had more time on the island.

We've done Royal caribbean many times we stayed in the Royal suite last time and it was awesome we had a full size player piano in our suite and our bed was round and it could spin slowly if you wanted it to but anyways two years ago we won a cruise on Carnival to Mexico so we did it and it was a regular room with just an ocean view no big deal we made it work and we had a great time so we booked another cruise with Carnival a few months later with a bigger suite and it was an awful cruise. Between people fighting or acting up in the hallways or obnoxious in general. Point is we said never again were sticking with Royal Caribbean and we just booked 2 more cruises one to the Caribbean and one to Europe "rome Greece and Turkey" with Royal Caribbean Well my birthday and my wifes birthday is in a few days and my wife decided to last minute book us a cruise for our birthdays and yup only thing available was Carnival Panorama so were off to Mexico again but we got a Havana suite with private pool and bar area so we'll see what happens...🤞🤞

I see several water features and outside of the pool with walk up bar, what is free and what is part of the water park? Is the wave pool free, is the pool with obstacle course ropes and lily pads free or part of the water park? Is the kids splash pad free?

Thrill waterpark is completely contained so everything inside of the waterpark is part of the admission fee. The wave pool is not free and the pool with the obstacle course is not free because they are all part of it - unfortunately. There is a small water feature for little kids outside of the waterpark and there’s tons of beach type fun too!!

Great video! IMO the extras on Coco Cay are overpriced. Take advantage of your drink package and just do a free beach day.

I just recently booked my cruise, and im seeing hideaway beach is an upcharge. is this worth paying for or do they not check that you paid for this? like how does it work?

They will definitely check! It's hard to say if it's worth it yet, no reviews but hopefully some will come soon. Be sure to follow matt over at royalcaribbeanblog - I'm sure he will test it out early!

@debbieneilson1491 yes the food on the island is included. They have a large buffet and several snack shack buildings where you can get their yummy chicken sandwich and salads.

I disagree about the sunscreen - check the ingredients - full of chemicals that is absorbing in your skin. Opt for wearing a t-shirt if you feel a burn. Get some sun for the vitamin D - we did this on our last cruise - felt great and we tanned- and I'm fair skinned!
