I am learning this song for my parents' surprise anniversary party I'm planning!!! I am so excited!!! So it took me two weeks to learn the right hand. I did, learn 45 seconds on 0.5, practice for a little while then go back to normal speed, and I kept doing it that way. I practiced for one hour daily, ( not on Sundays ), sometimes a little more. I can't wait to learn the left hand!!! Please pray that the party goes well!!! It's in August 2023!!!

I foresee about 7-10hrs to get this right from a beginner . The feeling of something complicated to understanding every stroke and to be able to enjoy the song while playing ,My young daughters to sing this tune while I play is something of magic

0.75 is the best playback speed for beginners as you can both play and understand the song. 0.5 is good for playing but you can't understand the song that way. So, 0.75 is the best, trust me. :)

I’ve watched this video 4 times, and I have the first note

When i am learning piano what i do is set it in 0.5 playback speed or you can set it in slower speed if you want. I do both hands. First i play just a few keys memorize it then stop the video i do it agian and again until i memorize the first few keys then proceed to few keys play it, memorize it then stop the video. Play it again and again until you slowly memorize the second few keys then try to play it from the beginning upto the second piano key that you memorize it don't need to be perfectly played as long as you can remember the keys and repeat it so on and on. Do this until you memorize the whole piece. I hope my way of learning piano can help you. I'm still just a beginner and practice and patience is just the key to finish learning a piano piece 😊
