Perfect Girl, but it's a Tesla Coil

Жыл бұрынFor those who did not understand what is going on this video, here's a brief explanation: The main loud music really comes from the tesla coil sparks. It's literally playing the music due to the programmed phase, pulse width and firing frequency! So, there are no speakers, no audio / video special effects. It looks even better in person and sounds almost the same, just louder than people expect!

Is this your first try with volume control on a song? I bet your neighbors just love you, haha! I know you can hear my coil from a 1/4 mile away easily, and it's only 3 feet tall and 120v 20A main. This thing is a radical beast! Nikola would be proud!

Honestly it is a pretty cool version, i like it, very sigma of you I am curious though; how much electricity does that consume ? Do you feel it financially when you get the bill ?

I would guess it consumes about 10kW (given, that it's connected via 3 Phase AC it's definetly more than 3,8kW), so it would cost about 4€ per hour given an electricity price of 0,4€/kWh (cries in german electricity costs)

En jugeant par ton nom, j'imagine que tu es français, je t'en veux pas les français sont pas giga smart :) Tu peux transformer de faible courant électrique en quelques chose de bien plus puissant sans forcément utilisé plus d'électricité, (intensité, puissance, constance) faire une tesla est relativement "facile" à faire avec comme base un micro-onde étant donné qu'il ont tous de quoi amplifier un courant sans en consommer plus. La même avec la Tesla du coup, en revanche faire de la musique avec est un peu plus compliqué

Tu m'excuseras de pas avoir le temps de faire le calcul moi-même en inventant des valeurs au pif 😄 🙃 edit : la video de styropyro ou il en construit une avec un globe plasma montre plutôt bien comment ça marche

lol maybe i can answer your question rather than insulting your intelligence. I asked the same question on another of his videos a long time ago and i think his answer at the time was this - he doesn't run it for very long considering he only needs the tesla running for a short duration while he records, thus avoiding alot of cost. I also asked about the noise he makes and if he bothers his neighbours. He said he lives far away from any one so he can'tbother them with noise. Bonne chance.
