A friend of mind once owned an Auto Redbug, which was a low speed, battery powered, two seated buckboard contraption with four 20” bicycle wheels. Applying the brakes pushed the fenders down on the front tires bringing it to a stately stop. Jekyll Island once prohibited gasoline powered vehicles and, like today’s e-bikes, the Auto Redbug was king. Thanks for a fun video!

Yes, please do....campground etiquette! That is a constant thing and seems to be contagious almost everywhere. Inconsiderate campers can ruin the stay and they just don’t care how, who, or what they are being rude about. Now that's the way to travel, "by the seat of your pants". That sounds so freeing. Bob Wells wanted places all over the USA and Canada that were for Nomads but we're free to stay at. It cost to dump and get water. The only way to travel, free and with enough Solar energy to let you live with power forever. Maybe the only thing that you buy is propane. The best video I've seen in a while, look at those smiles. Not a fake one for the camera. Cheers 😙🥂😘

We have so many memories of Jekyll Island. Checked out the campground when we first moved down here and ruled it out very quickly. Sites are small and too close together which is a shame as the rest of the island is so peaceful and full of fun things to do. Usually I try to get over to the island in Jan/Feb to hunt for the fishing floats that are placed each day. Last couple years the weather has been too cold. Blythe Island campground may be a better fit for you guys but you would need to drive to the beaches. Give Maggie a hug and kiss from my two pups.

The last time we were there a resident lady outside the park was feeding the raccoons. She was the raccoon lady and we ran into her on our bikes. There must have been at least 20 raccoons waiting for her in one spot and about 10 wild cats in another spot. She has to feed the two groups separately or they get into fights. Last time I saw that many raccoons in one place was nighttime at John Pentacamp State Park in the Keys. I bet there were at least 25 hanging around the dumpster and one poor cat. I had a pretty nice campsite last time I was there on the far left side of the campground that faced the woods. They do tend to pack them in there.

It’s hard to enjoy the sounds of birds and nature when humans are constantly squawking. Driftwood Beach is so beautiful - there’s something about driftwood that gets me every time. Campground etiquette? Not sure that would even make a difference because those people are just like that in their everyday lives, It’s that me, me culture, hell bent on doing whatever they want, wherever they are, with no regard for anyone else’s privacy, joy or comfort.
