We all know LEGO stickers can be a bit of a pain to get right first time.
Some might say you just need to know when to abort BEFORE you’ve stuck it right down and keep trying till it’s right. Or just just lower your expectations and settle for wonky stickers.
But if you want your stickers perfect, and you’ve got stiff competition from family members… it’s time to step up and show them how it’s done
So when I was faced with this sheet of 30 stickers for the 42109 LEGO Technic CTRL+ Top Gear RC Rally Car I realised it was time to find a more predictable technique for perfect stickers.
I found that when you use your fingers you can't see how much space you need all around the sticker. But if you stick it to something like one edge of a universal Lego tool, you can see the whole sticker and it becomes A LOT easier.

There's a submodel that has no less than SIX stickers. I wanted to build the whole thing in one take so I preloaded SIX LEGO tools.
I’m can’t say I’m a huge fan of the LEGO Technic Top Gear RC Rally Car, but I was pretty pleased with how the stickers turned out.

Brilliant, thanks! Lego should publish an interview with the person or people who designed that brick separator tool and how it came about. It's a so brilliant thing in many ways. I think many Lego builders are so happy with that small little thing, certainly the ones who had to do without way back 😀

Personally I found the warm soapy water rubbed onto part before applying transfer / sticker then can be moved into correct position then dabing dry softly with a paper towel dry in a couple of minutes plus no bubbles... etc the best way works each and every for me love this method myself found it on - readit -

I'm using a toothpick: It minimises the area which comes in touch with the sticker and gives you total liberty of action.

Thank you so much for this trick using ,the brick separator ,I recently purchased the daily bugle and it had a ton of stickers and using the separator helped a ton

im also using the separator for like 4, 5 months but i would say im still just 7/10. ima keep doing my best! ^^ thanks for the tips sir! :D

Yes that works too but every one that is a fan of lego probably already has a ton of lego brick separator.
