The best method I’ve seen for an ombré nail using gel. Every other video I’ve seen uses so much gel leaving the nail SUPER thick & misshapen.

I tried doing ombre last night and could not get it. Tips i took from this video, the sponge is less porous than the one i used. Use a smooth buffing block, go over it again and then top caot. Thank you. New Subbie for sure

After you buffed did you go back over without reloading the sponge? That should help if you haven’t tried it.

Does this work with a darker color? Example, a dark chocolate toward the bottom of the nail and a mauve pink at the tip? And if so, what should my base color be? Thank you!!
