One of the most asked questions about my nails is, "How do you paint your nails so perfectly?" Here's my answer!
I've shown this is a couple other videos, but this is the most recent routine. Thanks for watching!

This is an amazing video. I really the quality of the video and how close you got to your nails. The tips you gave were so helpful that I put it on my beauty blog, I was just like, this video hits every point of how to get a perfect manicure. Love this video! I think you are saving people so much money and also it was weirdly soothing to watch you apply nail polish, it calmed me down lol. Thanks!

I'm always painting my nails with my hand on my knee, but now I'm going to try using a flat surface more often. Lovely video- now I really want to paint my nails!

So pretty! Perfect manicure:) I know a lot of people swear by SV, but I can't bring myself to buy it since it's not 3-free or 5-free and because people have said that once you get half way down the bottle it becomes very thick.

Isn't it so much easier that way?! I used to paint my nail just anywhere, but now I always sit down and use a steady surface. :)

The right thumb: I see you hold the brush very flat with the left hand, so you have less control over it. With the right hand holding the brush, you use the tip of the brush. Beautiful results by the way 🙌🏻 Can you recommend a nail hardner that does the work without drying out the nails? Or even a nurishing one? Because of the autologous antibodies I have to take, my nails are so, so weak and thin. They chop so easly, that I have to keep them really short. Thank you ❤️🤗

Kristina..quick question…my nails have ridges & I need to use a ridge filler but would you advise putting the bonder before or after the ridge filler? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the tips in this video Kristina! I am like you, I used to hate painting my nails until I heard you mention Seche Vite, I bought it, tried it and loved it! So now I'm getting back into using my OPI polishes more and buying new ones. One question for you though, I read below that you trash your Seche Vite when it gets too thick. Have you tried Seche Restore: (info. from their website) Seche Restore™ is the only thinner to thin a bottle of Seche Vite™ to its original consistency. Will not diminish shine or dull colors and only replaces those ingredients which have evaporated from the bottle. I just ordered the Seche Restore, so I haven't used it personally, but I'm reading lots of good review on it. What are your thoughts? Also, I'm wondering if you use Seche Vite as an in between topcoat to extend your manicure? What I've been reading about it is that it needs to go on WET nails only or it will peel and chip (maybe that's Danielle M's problem who commented below). Just wondering your thoughts as this is all "new" to me. Thanks!!

Where do you buy your acetone? Can you find it on amazon? Where I live (in France) most of the polish removers are acetone free... :(

Why? Lol I have the same exact problem with my right thumb! The nail is shorter and it's always messier when I paint my nails. Lol

Hi Kristina. I'm curious if you've ever tried Gelous Nail Gel (sold at Sally's)? I saw it on Pintrest and I picked up a bottle because of the reviews. The technique I use is to sandwich it between coats of regular polish. It drys fast so there isn't a lot of waiting and it has really kept my manicures looking great for up to 7 days.

I've tried it before, but only over glitter polish that can can feel gritty even with a top coat on. Gelous smooths it out. :)

+Daily Something The current Fast-dry Top Coat that I'm using right now is Rush 60 Second High Speed Top Coat and I love it!

I bought it and I really like it. but the only thing I use it for is glitter polishes that leave texture and soak up top coat really bad. I'll put a coat of the gelous over the glitter then my quick dry top coat over that. works like a charm

You don't clean your hands between cleaning and applying the top coat ? Nice tricks, i suck at nail polish application :( but i keep trying ! =)

How do you deal with seche vite when you get to the last quarter of the bottle when its so gloopy and hard to spread on the nail? Tfs :)

Honestly? I trash it and start using a new bottle. When it gets to that point, I've noticed the shrinkage issue is horrendous and I have "tip wear" 2 hours after painting my nails. I know some people like to get the big bottle of Seche Vite and refill the smaller bottles, but I didn't have much luck with that either. Instead, I now buy 3-4 bottles at once on Amazon and then I always have backups. If you find a good seller on Amazon, you can get a bottle for under $5. Love your nails...sadly sache vite always peels clean off of my nails for some reason so I don't use it any more.

Are you using a good base coat with it? Also, I've had polishes peel off easily when my nails aren't completely devoid of oils. Sometimes a quick swipe with acetone before a base coat helps. :)

Maybe that's it...I sometimes like to use it by itself to give my nails shine and within 2 days it's gone. I haven't considered a base coat.

Seche Vite did the same for me too. It would peel off the next day and would make me so mad. I tried it because everyone said it was great. I guess you just have to find what works for you, we are all different.

+kara steele All top coats chip after a while. I have Seche Vite though and I'd say it lasts a good week or two before you actually see real chipping.

I use Seche Vite but in 2 days several nails will sheet off completely. Why is this happening? 😠💅

Possible oily nail beds. Before painting them, clean your nails with some acetone. It will get all oils and dirt off and should not peel off after that, if it does it might be the polish. 😊

@@candym2708 I stopped using Seche Vite and the problem stopped, go figure. 🤔 So now I have a brand new bottle I need to give away. What worked for me was China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat and Orly Sec n Dry for fast dry top coat. Problem solved 😁💅

Your final result looks good however the roughness around your nails let's it down..this is due to you using acetone. .don't use it..just perfect applying your varnish and in time you will get the same results. ☺
