Naan is a multinational recipe which grew from ancient Egypt and spread all over the world. Today you can find thousand of naan varieties around the world. Turkish, Iranian, Afghani and Pakistani as well. Today I will teach you to make perfect Roghni Naan which is used on marriage functions and along with the different type of breakfasts. In Lahore naan is an essential part of breakfast whether to eat it with nihari or cholay(chickpea stew).
Written Ingredients:
Water 1cup 250ml
Milk 1cup 250ml
Yeast 1tsp or 11gms
Eggs 2
Baking Soda 1/2tsp
Salt 1tsp
Sugar 2tsp
Oil 4tbs
Cumin seeds 1tbs
All-Purpose Flour 1kg
Oil for garnish
Water fro brushing
Sesame seeds for garnish
black caraway for garnish
Cooking Utensils:
Tawa 2
Rolling pin for rolling naans
Brush for brushing

your explanation to detail is spot ON, I've seen many of your videos and still think you are true cook who knows what he is doing, credit to you, I wish all other who makes youtube videos can explain as good as you do but then again I feel you know quiet a lot about chemistry of meat and vegetables plus spices, well done you are a master of great skill.

Biryani, kabsa, nihari, albek chicken , aur mutton k almost sare recipes try kiye maine. Meri recently shadi hui hai mere shohar ko apke dishes bahut pasand aaye. Pehley tawey per 2-3 min pakain Phir oven ki grill on rakh ke usmain 2 min aur behtareen naan tayyar hoga. Main aisey hi banata hon. Aur recipe main doodh/anda na daalain warna cake jaisa taste aaye ga. Sirf aata/yeast/baking powder/sugar/paani use karain aur aatey main thori kalonji daal dain

Highly recommended recipe, I've been making naans since long and living abroad missing Pindi k roghni naan but then I saw this recipe and decided to give it a try and voila it turned out super awesome. I used tawaa and frying pan to make them and dashed them with butter instead of oil. Thanks so much for the recipe. You're doing a great job. BTW I tried your seekh kebabs too and they were also a hit. Best regards.

Yes I did but I mixed half and half so not 100% wholewheat. I turned out ok but not the same as the plain flour. I think I need the wholewheat with a little added protein. Maybe it would work better@@jerrijaved9419

I don't see why you're adding baking soda when you have already using yeast as a rasing agent?

No baking soda gives a soft texture and make the inside of Naan a fluffy texture and also it absorbs the unpleasant odour of yeast. Kindly visit my channel and watch my Naan recipe too and give me your feedback.
