Cosima reminds me of the AMAZING BBC show Orphan Black. Tatiana Maslany KILLED IT in that show. One of her many characters was named Cosima and she was a scientist (beauty in order!).

Ah SJ this list is gorgeous as always! My list of possible baby names is getting longer and longer haha. An idea I had, because there is quite some websites about it (and I am dating a South African, so I might be biased) is Zulu/Xhosa names from South Africa. They are really literal with their translations and meanings and very long and beautiful.

My middle name is Lena :) it’s after my great Nan, Lena May, born in the early 1920s, so it’s been around a while! I love the simplicity of it, whilst it’s unique, it’s not too out there and sounds like a name. Definitely on my list!

I’m not so much a fan of nicknames as given names, but more that given names should have easy nicknames. That’s why I’ve always loved the name Magdalena. Hearing you talk about Lena made me think about it because it’s one of four different nicknames that easily comes from it. (Magda, Maggie, Lena, Lenni) So if you are also a long names with easy nicknames person, Magdalena might be for you!
