This was amazing! I'm 66 and grew up listening to D. P. To hear this done in this style is outstanding. Something else I noticed. Sina is all about music. Obviously, people come to her channel for her drumming skills. In this video, there was very little about Sina and her drum skills. It was all about the various musicians. Beautiful job.

I also just commented similarly in another forum (Patreon), that Sina was content providing rhythm support and not grabbing the spotlight. The fact that she lets her colleagues shine and allows them to do their best is one of the aspects that makes her so special. That and the fact she is a true humanitarian... This isn't even a comment on the song or music, but I needed to mention and add that these qualities (including her amazing talent) is what draws in supporters (like me and her other patreon members). Rock on!!

Wonderful performance! The musicians are all so talented. The arrangement composed by Linus Mahler was perfect. I especially enjoyed the crescendo of the strings near the end.

OMG guys! When I turned this video on I was sitting down and still had socks on my feet. Now, they are nowhere to be found because you all just blew them off. Deep Purple was one of my most favorite groups when I was young and learning this song was hard but I learned them all. This is one BADASS song. So well done group. BTW Sina, that’s a badass outfit you are wearing. Totally appropriate for this song.

Superb cover of a great song. I saw DP perform this at Knebworth Park in June 1985, where they were supported by Scorpions, Meat Loaf and a few other bands. I remember Ian Gillan making a rubbish joke about the song being based on a football team called the Perfect Street Rangers. Then he giggled so much during Knocking At Your Back Door that he could barely finish it, but that's another story.

Been into Deep Purple since I was 7yrs old. When Mach 2 reunited in '84 with this Album it was a pure magical blast from the past. To see it done in this manner goes to show how brilliant the band truly was(is?) You all are fantastic and hallelujah to yuh for your vision.... I have listened to this numerous times. All the musicians play wonderfully, but I have to give credit to the sound engineering. The sound is big and consistent, but not sterile in the least. This sounds great when listened to with good speakers and headphones. Good job.

Great point! Was watching on PBS last night Elton John & Bernie Taupin awarded a Gershwin Award (?) from Library Of Congress and was marveling that closeups of Elton on piano showed no music or notes, but these were iconic songs he’s been banging out for decades (Saturday Night & Your Song) … Sina & Friends seriously put in the time!! 🌴

I know that it is all right and proper and everything to say thanks for watching, but, wow, for me, I have to say wow. Just wow. This is one of my favorite songs from "Purple", and you guys have done a real good job doing it the way DP does it, but still sounding like a cover, a very, very good cover. Orchestration? Sheesh, doing a little bit of going back to Jon Lord days. Thank you for the recording, and for all the efforts and time it had to have taken to pull this many people together and turning out a finished product. I've been listening to Deep Purple since 1970, and I consider myself more or less an expert on their music. Still my favorite band.
