I am having trouble w/ the crochet technique where loose strands are tucked into the strand where you are going on and out quickly (I’m missing it or I can’t see it because your thumb seems to cover it) but you have given me enough that I will keep trying. Thank you so much!! (Maybe you could do a close up just of that or insert it in slow motion).

On your case...avoid using tail comb while doing retwist...try use your palm and fingers. Adopt that technique and speed will follow 👌
