Hi Brian Recording matches is all about equipment and zeal. Analysis during timeout however requires mental toughness and memory. How do you develop the capability to remember what happened during the match? Very good video!

Hey Dieter. I have to say that he being able to keep a running total of the most significant shots that make up the game is a learned process. It is important to be able to understand what shots make up the bulk of shots that you are trying to win with. That will help you play the right. I tell everyone that I work with that it is very difficult to control whether or not they play good or bad, but you have to have total control over whether or not you play right or wrong. Being able to call a timeout is a way to reboot the "Tactical Approach". I knew before I called a timeout that I was playing right, I was just not executing the shot. Taking that timeout help me quickly recall the list of shots that I had played. I went back into the game and started to make an impact by landing the same shots I was missing before the time out. My biggest piece of advice is to hold yourself accountable.

Hey Brian! What would be a good camera(preferably affordable) that can be used to record your matches? Also, if it is a different answer what would be the camera you use?

Any Sony HD camera is good enough that you will get quality video if it is not compressed.

Hi Brian, What does Block - No Contact under Defensive Play mean? Can you please give an example? Great videos and tips here. Very helpful! BTW, I see you've already played with my training buddy the Filipino guy, Ernesto "Jon" Ebuen. Thank you for responding back in advance.

I THINK it is simply when you try to block but didn't make contact with the ball (maybe the ball curved out). Definitely going into a "miss" section. Not that you cannot reach the ball though, as that would be footwork.

he was up by 2-0 and winning easy points thanks to you. so he wasn't focused much. then you just started to play harder and win that set. overall he is a bit quicker than you so I guess he won 3-1 am I right?
