Cooking as meditation. I was a chef for 30 years and this is about as relaxed and gentle as I've ever seen cooking accomplished. Beautiful food too!

This video production is fantastic! I could watch this type of production even if they were just boiling water. The closeups and slow motion are just perfect. One more trick to making the potatoes crispier is to add baking soda to the boiling water.

I made these tonight and they turned out fantastic! I'm a big fan of garlic so I didn't strain the garlic and rosemary from the oil before tossing it with the potatoes. Also, I was running short of time, so about halfway through the cooking process, I kicked the temperature up to 375 degrees and took them out 15 minutes early. They still came out golden brown and crunchy. Thank-you for such a delicious recipe!

I tried this out today and it was so delicious.Thank you so much for the recipe,I've been looking for this for a while. Ps:I added some red pepper flakes into the garlic+olive oil mixture and it was amazing.If you like spicy things,you should definitely try it.

Get an Carolina Reaper powder and mix there like 1/4 or 1/8 teaspoon, should be epic. I find the regular pepper flakes kinda meh, it doesn't really absorb making it like it's nothing there, basically i feel it's somewhat spicy only if one of the flakes gets on my tongue and it's overall not the best experience.

@@blackshadow-pq7jb At first,I used 200 degree,too but after 30 minutes there was a smell like something is gonna burn so I changed it into a lower degree and baked more.Maybe it can work.

Tried it today....it turned out to be real easy and crisp....only thing is that you have to flip each and every potato peice to make it crispy...but it's 100% results..great job

I love baked potatoes, and my fav potatoes to use are the Pontiacs; their moisture content is what makes them so good for baking; the skins get crispy, and the insides are very smooth and silky, sooo delish! Pierce the skins, then microwave for 2 minutes; then place on baking sheet and continue baking; you can cut them in half, and brush butter and herbs over them, or/plus you can sprinkle cheese on them; I have one almost every day, better than boiled. I have heard it said "only use russet potatoes for mashed or baked potatoes" but these red potatoes are the bomb, for every way you want to have your potatoes :)

I tried the recipe and it's perfect! I've made it a couple times now and found it's a great way to use up small potatoes without having to peel them. Also, depending on how small the potatoes are they don't need more than 30 min. in the oven. Thank you very, very much for the recipe! :)

Made this today and it turned out sooooooo delicious!! I replaced the rosemary with coriander and mixed herbs, and pan fried for about 20 minutes! Super easy to make too :) P.S. I poked holes in the potatoes using a fork before I boiled them, helps infuse the flavours better!! P.P.S. no hard and fast rule to only use olive oil! I used regular refined oil and it turned out perfectly alright

Tried this recipe today, don't like rosemary so used fresh oregano and crushed pepper flakes. I fried them because I was hungry and couldn't wait for one hour. Tasted great, crispy and very flavorful. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing crispy potatoes! For any one who wants to try this recipe try them with Goosefat or olive oil and butter for more flavor. Also if you don't want the chili powder you can substitute it for paprika. I personally use smoked paprika.
