Literature research can be time-consuming and overwhelming.
In this video, I am sharing a systematic way of documenting and organizing academic research results. The process can be much more productive, shareable, and repeatable.
PubMed is a free academic search engine for biomedical science and life sciences. One might say PubMed is a more trusted search engine as it is supported by the NIH, and one could worry less about the unknown commercial bias that Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic might introduce to your thesis.
Apart from subscription-based search platforms like the Web of Science, PubMed is my favorite platform for performing literature research.
Check out the interactive training platform with PubMed, I highly recommend everyone to go through this training!

I set alerts for specific search term (combo's) and get weekly mails with results...that way I also don't have to re-iterate the search :D

Amazing! I followed your instructions and I was able to discover how efficient I will be with my literature review with work and academics. Kudos to you! Just a suggestion, it would help if you can bridge the gap on the part of how to get to style editor in Zotero and how to save it and load it. That was the part I got lost so I listened to that part for a few times, then I finally figured where I should be going. Still, this tutorial is really a time saver

Hi Vera! I just explored how to transfer bibliography from Zotero, again. And I discovered we can open it in excel or sheets with all the details needed (e.g. by year, abstract) if we opt to export the specific collection into csv format, compared to creating a bibliography of the collection. I tried downloading the results from Pubmed with CSV format but it was only limited to 5 details, no abstract included. Thank you so much for making this video!!!

Hi Kla, this is amazing to hear. I have not tried exporting CSV format myself, do you have any reference link to share with me? The original reference for the Style editor is here, thank you for the feedback I will try to explain with more details next time! forums.zotero.org/discussion/18771/bibliography-plus-abstracts
