I got my bike all up and running but i dont no wher the wires go 4 the kill switch as i hav 2 use either the choke or pull off spark plug cap. But boy wat a noise it make sound goo. Just waighting for the new rocket key

That carb youre using is a 14mm, the stock carb is 12mm

hay grate show you have all the mod cons but with all that fuel going in dont you have open up the read block clearance more

I promise you, that the airfilter will work only for bigger rocks... It's only steel mesh that won't work as an airfilter...

Do these engines last longer than the 66cc bicycle conversion bike engines do? And are there more aftermarket parts for these?

These engines definitely will last longer because they have a forced fan air cooling but they put out a lot more power it's depending on how you treat it I own both and I don't have any trouble with either one

The 66 China girl is a piston port and not very many of them are tune from the factory very well at all as far as porting they're all little bit different but this other engine is forced fan cooling and it has a loop charge like a outboard motor and it has to have a reed valve to run so this is naturally a hotter engine as far as power is concerned and they do run better I worked on these different ones for many years of all types including motorcycles

Yes but it's kinda the same thing anyways but fiberglass may be a better option for reeds compared to carbon fiber either that or it's the other way around

Does anyone know where to buy the inlet manifold intake for the new carburetor? You can't use the old one because of the lip that it has for the old carburetor. I can't find a flat one like Dylon's got.

Which reeds are better? Carbon fiber or fiberglass? Ones for low end and the other for high end performance. But anyone know which one performs better?

the stock tin reeds are actually better they dont flatter as much as the fiberglass en carbon ones. and the tin reeds seal much better

@@dawson.k5282 either check the magneto or the head. I've had the same problem at first. The head keep coming loose so I'm gonna stick some thread lock on the bolts. But my guess is the magneto gap.

What could happen to an engine if the crank isn't balanced?????

if the crank is out of balance, it will cause the harmonics (internal vibration) of the engine to damage crank bearings, rod bearings etc, it will also cause the performance to deteriorate (get worse), every engine that is built has to be balance or be fitted with a harmonic balancer e.g some Chevy V8's are fitted with one, because 2 stroke engines rely on every part of it's horsepower for it's performance, so grinding part's off the crank without re-balancing the crank should not be done if you want to keep the engine running at peak performance.

No it’s a brand new engine, I haven’t found something I want to put it in yet. Another update video will drop today on this. I’m holding off on the ‘performance’ clutch to test stock differences when I do get it running

its not a carbon fiber reed, it is a glass fiber reed ;)

It's just a natural white carbon fiber reed, not a fiber glass reed

@@tyladube801 not even close…. Glass fiber is based on - well glass from silica… carbon is from - well coal (in its roughest form) both can however be a reinforcement i a resin ( epoxy, polyester etc). Carbon has a lot higher tensile strenght and is way stiffer than glass.

Hey man I know you’re into pocket bikes like a lot so you must know a lot! I just got a x7 pocket bike for free, it wouldn’t start just as I imagined I check spark which it had, carb was getting air, and I had gas, it wouldn’t start so I opened up the carb and it was gunked up with old gas, I cleaned it up really good but still nothing, it’s like the gas isn’t leaving the carb into the engine, but when I just put a bit of gas straight into the engine it fires right up , not sure if it’s just the carb or what but I need your help! Since you know a lot more than me!

It sounds like the diaphragm pump in the carb is not working, get a carb rebuild kit and that should cure the problems, if like you said you had to clean the gunk out of it, it has been standing for a long time so would have damaged the diaphragm. once you have done that it should be ok.
